PAUL SHERWOOD has been a professional photographer for over 25 years, with much experience in the fields of magazine and newspaper features, as well as social, commercial and wedding photography, covering many varied topics throughout Ireland the U.K. and Europe during his career.
Paul's Wedding Photography began when friends started to get married and called upon his services - "this allowed me to develop a very informal style and try out some ideas on people who wouldn't mind if you suggested something out of the ordinary."
"As a consequence there have been some very natural and also unusual images over the years, not only from those I know, but also the couples whose Weddings I’ve covered, once they've seen what can be done."
Based in South Co. Dublin, Paul offers a nationwide service, working with an easy going ‘reportage’ style covering the day with his outgoing, yet relaxed and unobtrusive manner, providing a mix of informal, with some formal coverage in both colour and black & white, believing that the couples day should be enjoyable and not dominated by an overbearing photographer.
During the average Wedding Paul shoots around 400 pictures, all of which the couple get to keep. The pictures are available either as prints, available in two sizes - 6" x 4" (regular size proofs) or 6" x 8" (large proofs) or on CD - or both if desired. His packages are all available either with or without an album. A popular option is for couples to have the larger size prints supplied without an album, for them to deal with as they wish.
