The Appassionata String Quartet are all professional musicians and are members of The National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland. We can arrange to play music in the style that suits you most.

The members of the Appassionata String Quartet have performed with many of Ireland's most well-known and successful musicians; including The Corrs, Paul Brady, Bono, Ronan Keating, Phil Coulter, the Three Irish Tenors featuring Ronan Tynan, and Daniel O'Donnell. We have also worked with international artists including U2, Led Zeppelin, Kate Bush, Shania Twain, Barry Manilow and Johnny Cash. Meanwhile, as a quartet, we have entertained the likes of Bill Clinton, Mary McAleese, John Hume, Princess Diana, Bertie Ahern, and have appeared on the Late Late Show. |

Appassionata played at our church ceremony and at our arrival reception in April 2007 and we were delighted with them. The music was beautiful - everything from traditional Irish pieces to Bach to "You'll Never Walk Alone"! Aine was very helpful to deal with. And they arranged and learned two pieces that I particularly wanted for the ceremony. A definite recommendation!
