‘I first met Karen at a wedding fair where I saw the wedding cake of my dreams – ‘Hearts Desire’. It looked absolutely amazing and it stole the show! My hubby-to-be was unable to come with me, so I described the cake to him on the phone, omitting the fact that it had a little tiara and big feathers on it! He didn’t need to know that! I put the order in and each tier was a different cake. Karen was an absolute pleasure and took such care in what she did for us. Our wedding was in Tipperary and ours was the first wedding cake that she had not set up herself, due to the distance. Karen was as nervous as I was about getting it there in one piece! So, we were sent off by Karen with our cake and our list of do’s and don’ts to get the cake to its’ final destination without any catastrophies! I was a bit nervous about my new hubbys’ reaction to the feathers, but when he saw it he loved it, and wasn’t at all put out by the feathers! Each tier tasted amazing. We promised Karen we would be back to her for a Christening cake! We fulfilled our promise in 2006 and are now back to her again for our second Christening cake also! We couldn’t recommend Karen and her cakes enough. It has always been an absolute pleasure and the proof really is in the eating!’ Kind regards,
