Hi Ladies

I really would appreciated all your help on this Ive been looking for a while now and cant seem to find a string quartet in the North West Derry/Donegal Area to do church music and possible reception music depending on budget.. I contacted a crowd in Sligo who said Derry is too far?! but had another willing to travel from Dublin but think its best to try and keep it as local as possible?? H2B said his family would do it but they say they only do traditional music excuse my ignorance but I thought as long as you provide the music sheets then it shouldnt really matter about the genre so arrrgghhhh!! Sorry for the rant but would like to get this sorted asap.

Im in the process of contacting music schools in the area but any help would be really appreciated!

I've literally got off the phone after booking a String Quartet for our wedding in Donegal. I booked Arco String Quartet - http://www.arcoquartet.co.uk/

They're members of the Ulster Orchestra and their prices seem ok. I dealt with Clare and she was really nice and v helpful. They'll be playing at our ceremony and drinks reception and maybe the meal.

Ladies thank you so much for all your help I think I may have the music sorted but waiting on my mum to get back to me about it so fingers crossed!!! I'll contact the quartets just in case though...

Rathkenny I contacted the Classical Music Society in Derry the manager Kevin Murphy called me last night and will forward me the details of another quartet as soon as I get the details I can forward them to you too?
