Hi Purplelove

We have booked our band without seeing...they cam highly recommended from my dads work collegue, he wanted to book them but they were unavailable on the date they wanted...We have seen some videos of them online and they are quite good..It will be a nice surprise on the wedding day

25th October!

We have Killashee House Hotel booked, Brian Ryan photographer, the band and DJ, got my dress.

Not much to do until a year before really! lol

We booked the band, going to see them next week anyway. Fingers crossed, they have gotten amazing reviews so im not overly concerned.

Have a load of meetings set up with photographers next week, any ideas what to ask or watch out for??

Hopefully getting my dress back from the cleaners, any ideas on the best way to store it??

New Bride here - getting married Feb 16, 2022 @ Dunboyne Castle Hotel. I live in Boston & need help on recommendations for bands....has anyone seen Goodfellas, Vegas Nights, 5th Ave Party Band or Black Knights?

Also any suggestions for a good florist in the area? Hopefully getting my dress this weekend!!

Hope all the wedding plans are running smoothly for you!
Just popping my head into this thread to tell you that I still have plenty of availability for 2013.

I'm based in Dublin & travel anywhere in Ireland. I offer considerable discounts if you book me for both your ceremony & pre-dinner entertainment as a package! I am 100% professional & reliable and have many years of musical performance experience.

If any of you would be interested in seeing me perform, I will be playing piano at:

Clontarf Castle this Sunday, 22nd April at 2pm.

It's informal and everyone's welcome! You don't have to approach me on the day or even let me know you're going - but it might give you an idea what I'm about! So feel free to pop along! And if you like what you hear, I'd be happy to chat to you about your requirements!

I can play instrumental piano or else play piano with singing on your big day - whichever you prefer!
This Sunday I will be showcasing a selection of tracks from my instrumental set. They are all well-known, popular songs.... the type you'd hear on the radio & sing along to in the car

Ive booked Vertigo, they are from Dundalk, Co. Louth and i think they are brilliant... ive heard from other Wollies that Goodfellas and Black Knights are brilliant too1!!!

We're having Vegas Nights at our wedding!! I've been to sooooo many weddings where they have played (and Christmas parties) and I can't recommend them highly enough. They have had a crowd up all night each time I've seen them! Dave is really nice too! And the main singer, his wife, has an amazing set of lungs!! And no I'm not related to them! Ha ha!

Hows everyone doing after the weekend? I had a great weekend wedding wise. We got our bridemaids dresses and booked our honeymoon!!!!!!

Dresses are FAB - got them off WOL. All new with tags and in the colour we were looking for! Got a great deal. Am super excited about the honeymoon. We've booked Celebrity Cruises Med & Greek Island Cruise. Got a great deal on that too cos we booked so early!!!!

I'm new bride to this too. Only really learning how to use it I'm getting married in Dunboyne castle on the 22nd of aug and I'm soooo un organised compared to u gals I only have church venue cake I need to get a move on.

Going to add myself to this list as well, 25th of May, have booked our venue in Dublin city centre, humanist ceremony followed by bbq and dancing in a pub in town, very casual, waiting to hear back from our band but we won't be stuck for music as OH is a musician and so are most of his friends.
