Hi Wollies :wv

Just wondering if you are aware that you are entitled to a free (yes I said FREE!) personal wedding website once your register on WeddingsOnline!

How do you create your own wedding website?
It's really easy and only takes 30 secondes!

- Register here: http://www.weddingsonline.ie/register/ or log in on the homepage

- Visit MyHub

- In Myhub, go to My profile - My personal website

Fill out your wedding details, enable your website and DONE!

You can send the link to your friends and family to share your wedding details or as an electronic save-the-date! Here is an example: http://www.weddingsonline.ie/my-wedding/sophieandken/

Happy planning!

Sophie

I think most people are aware they can create on and I did one myself except for theres not that many pages and you can't actually put much information on it. A few people posted before about adding more features to it but nothing was done to improve it so they are going elsewhere to create one. I don't see the point in spending time creating a website that can't store much information. When the weddingsonline was about to be updated we were told we'd have access to one where guests could rsvp but this isn't a feature on it at all. If you take a look at many other american sites you can see that you can put in details about bridal party, rsvp areas, accomodation details directions etc, however none of these are featured on the wol personal website.

Hi mrsG2b2011,

Sorry for the delay in replying and thanks a million for your feedback! I take all your comments on board and we will look at improving the website to suit our Wollies including the following features: new templates, RSVP area and a map/directions to the wedding venue.
In the meantime, we do have an area for the bridal party with the name and role of each (we will add more fields if needed) and a link to the venue directions page can be added.

All the best,

Sophie

I was delighted to see you have the website function, however it needs alot of development. There is no where to put on about Places to stay, journey times etc. Plus would be nice to be able to design the page and put up a photo if you are going to offer this facility. slightly disapointed

Hey Guccigoo,

Thanks a mill for your feedback. We will be developping new templates which you will be able to choose from. Regarding the image, you can currently upload one (in MyWebsite image - Browse).

I'm always open to feedback girls, so please let me know if there is any way we can improve the wedding website.

All the best!
Sophie

Being able to choose templates would be great. There's no options there to make it stand out from all the other WOL websites that will pop up. Personally, I've signed up for a Wordpress blog - there's options to have different tabs/pages, people can leave comments, and there's loads of customisation possible, as well as adding photo galleries and the like.

Hey Marilyn84,

Did you try to go in MyHub - MyProfile - My personal website - at the bottom of the page, tick the box beside Enable my personal website.

If this doesn't work, please let me know.

r0xx0rZ thanks a mill for your feedback :)

Hi,

The My Personal Website Tab is not highlighted in My Hub so nothing happens when I "click" on it.

Would love to get my website up and running if possible!

Thanks

Hey Miss May B,

This should be working for you now. You were registered as Others instead of Bride. I've just changed your status and hopefully this should sort the problem. Let me know if you still have an issue.

All the best!
Sophie

I didn't realise about this feature, I've been so caught up with planning the wedding and doing "Save the Date" on facebook event. This is great, now I can tell guest about the personal wedding website on our Facebook Event!! Thanks :thnk Think a few more pages would be great! But loving the personal wedding website :)
