Have any of you any good ideas about alternative wedding transport for the groom and the lads to get them to the venue?

I thought as a nice surprise Id arrange for an old VM camper to pick them up on the day (he loves VW campers). Just got a quick quote and I nearly fell off my chair! Although wedding is August so they only do a minimum 3 day rental. Dont know if it would be everyone's cup of tea but there is an "A Team" replica van / jeep available for hire also if you google it, not sure of the prices tho.

not too sure tbh they have a facebook page with another company too. id say it would be expensive but if you can afford it it's definately worth it - could you imagine the photos!! my h2b plans on just going to the ceremony in one of the gm's cars and then they'd pull in at one of those truckstop petrol stations and the truck would be there. he would just be so shocked and would be a lovely present for him - 2 in 1 job present and alternative transport together. now im not to sure about me going near the thing in all my finery so a friend with a vintage corvette in lending us to us for driving from church to hotel so hopefully ill get the truck for a discount seeing as it's only one trip.
