The bride in this wedding is simply stunning. I love the almost 1920's/retro look she has with the hair and make-up, it all looks so effortless, yet totally perfect. The wedding was at the Fota House, Cork and the reception was in Barnabrow House, the photographer was the exceptionally talented Gary Barrett.

The dress fits like a gorgeous glove, the colour of the bridesmaids dresses is stunning and the way everything is coordinated is flawless. But for some reason...I think the flowers steal the show. This might be one of my favourite bouquets...ever (which is hard for me to admit as a die-hard hydrangea supporter). I don't usually like mixed bouquets, but something about this is really sweet. The colours are so complimentary, the arrangement is so natural, everything just works in a really organic way. As flowers should.

Two posts in one day! I was just too excited, I had to show everyone this amazing wedding by one of my favourite Irish photographers Peter Rowen (one of Ireland’s Top 100 Wedding Suppliers). I don’t get a chance to post many Irish weddings, which is why it gives me great pleasure to show you this wedding which could compete in style and total awesomeness with any wedding in the whole world!
Thank you Peter for sending this amazing wedding. www.peterrowen.com

I owe everyone a big apology for my absence. I will give a list of excuses and leave it up to you whether you accept any of them...1. I was on my honeymoon in Orlando 2. The spring issue of B Magazine is coming out and it has taken ever minute of my days. 3. I haven't had time to look for inspiring details!
So there they are. Moving swiftly on. To keep the peace and hopefully give everyone a much needed Monday boost here is a wedding in Tuscany. Every Monday should have a bit of Tuscany, right?

I will never forget sitting in the Seattle airport last December, vowing that I never wanted to see snow again. Trying to make our way from Dublin to my Washington home was pure travel hell as the whole of northern America was under several feet of snow. We were layed over in NY, San Francisco and Seattle, where finally my dad was forced to drive over the treacherous mountain passes for 5 hours to collect us, because all flights were cancelled until after Christmas. Even though I have spent the whole of 2009 hating the white stuff, as Christmas rolls around...dare I say it...I kind of miss my white Christmas.

This wedding is perfection as far as I am concerned. Not only does it have amazing details and the dress is to die for, but you can also sense that the bride and groom and their guests were having a great time. Which to me is more important than anything! Photographed by the fabulous Marie Labbancz.

I couldn't resist these winter inspired palettes from Ritzy Bee Blog and Lucky Me Blog. They are simply stunning, and would work perfect for a Christmas wedding.

This wedding flawlessly marries each detail to their vintage theme. The bride is the best part (the shoes and lips are to die for!), but I have to say that the table numbers is a close second.

Umm...this is awesome. It was for a wedding on Halloween-how perfect would that be?
