Guys, I am happy to read that you have a lot of progress with alli, however I keep reading across that there are quite a lot of side effects :( Couldn't read all the posts, however, I am seriosly doubting about it :( If anyone knows about side effects, please mention them...I also read recently about Zotrim. This one seems to get popular and it is compared to alli as a better alternative. I personally have no weight probs up to now, but my husband seems to be looking for some weight supplements so I also am interested in the current offers..
hi jenny y the side effects are well quite frankly anal leakage now I personally have never had that if i go over the fat grams I get windy but nothing at all like what other have now everyone body is different but if your hubby sticks to the amount of grams he allowed he should be ok.. you go the bathroom with the tablets I go every morning that it but like i said everyone different... whats these zotrium never heard of them wouldnt it be deadly if we could take a tablet one noght wake up and be thin LOL now thats a tablet i would like
How are ye all getting on? Are the side effects worth the weight loss? I have started the alli tabs last night and am very nervous so far about possible side effects...
thanks a lot for the information. Well, my husband still hasn't made up his mind yet about which pills to take. He still does some research on the issue :)
As for Zotrim - I also haven't heard of them before, however I came across them at a review on the web, and then visited the official website as well, which said, there is also quite large offline distribution - so they seem to be pretty much used...

Wowsers JESSIBLE... that is great. I am 11 and half stone and would be delighted if i could loose a stone. Not seeing much progress so far but only on them 2 days. Guess I will reassess after a week! Keep up the good work
Ok girls, I will tell you the truth I have had anal leakage and do you know what I like it because it lets me know what foods I thought would have been ok are actually full of fat.
It is not that bad, I get it while going to the loo. To me it means that the tablets are working. I just read paul hurleys report and like everything it is trying to scare people off the tablets but I would rather alli than lipotrim.

Well missi moo everyone tries something. I also replied to an alli topic that supports people taking the tablets. I am not sure whether you post on this thread or are just dropping in to give your opinion. I read Paul Hurleys article but I also did a lot of research on alli before I started taking them. I found a lot of positive stories from people who found them great at giving a little push in the weight loss.
They have also been around for many years under different names. If they were so dangerous then why were they prescribed by doctors? How come they were changed from prescription only to be purchased over the counter.
My cousin was prescribed them 5 years ago when she felt so depressed over her weight and lost 6 stone. Are you overweight? Do you really know how it feels to be very upset about your weight?
If I was not overweight I would not take the tablets. I have lost 3 stone on my own before but after having a baby and finding it very hard to workout as often every little helps.

FR it was not an attack on you, but an attack on a product that really isn't healthy or good for you. You actually need some fat in your diet (good fats, eg Avacado) Alli makes you expel such fats, its caused ulcers etc. There have been many drugs that Dr's have prescribed that have been later removed from the market eg. Thalidamide. Dr's are only human and pharmaceutal companies make billions exploiting over weight people with false promises.
There is one 100% proven way to loose weight, its through healthy eating and exercise, not a tablet that causes you to leak!
If you read back through my old posts you'll see I've went to ww for years, I'm talking 10 years on and off, I was a huge poster on the H&F threads and regularly check in to see how my fellow ww are. I rarely post here anymore.
This year I won a competition on confetti and went to Paul Hurley for hypnotism, it was the best thing that happened as it completely changed my relationship with food and how I think about it. I lost the weight I needed to and dropped dress sizes, I don't know how much weight I lost as I stopped weighting myself, I felt I didn't need to anymore. My friend went to Paul and it didn't work for her, but she's going to the gym and we email each other our food diaries daily for support and its great to write what I eat its a good habit.
I wasn't going to post on this thread at all but your post really scared me, as did the one higher up about the girl 11 stone who lost a stone and half, she didn't have a bmi over 28. I wish you well on your weightloss but maybe for your healths sake try doing it the old fashioned way.
Hi Guys / Girls,
Decided I would post as its something ive kept private and did for myself but I think everybody has started to notice.
Had a neck injury and let the pounds pile on .. never mind Ill shift them.
Eventually was finding getting clothes difficult and said enough is enough and funnily at the time the g/f was watching expose and they had a piece on motivation.ie So i rang next day when on my own and signed up. Its costly cost me 630ish i think but said sod it going to do this and sort it this time.
Im at it 6 weeks and with some excercise and following plan am down 2 stone 4 pounds. I have lost 6 inches on my frame and reduced bmi by 6% too so far.
I am astounded by it and am now really keen to get to my target weight which is only another 1-7"
Its a 20 week programme and not for everyone id say.. its lots of protein supplements with 3 healthy meals from approved food list and the supplements cost 45 a week but for me it really worked and the weekly meet keeps you very focussed
Anyway thats my story
