Hi were considering Croatia for next June going to a few different parts has anyone been and is it a Honeymoon destination?

I was there in September on holidays (Dubrovnik) and I loved it!!!! I think it would be lovely as a honeymoon spot.

I agree with amck - Dubrovnik is one of the most romantic places I've ever been to.
People are so friendly, it's good value, AMAZING scenery and the weather os fab in the Summer.
We stayed in the old city( like stepping back into the medieval ages) and loved every second of it.
Loads of little islands along the coast also so always lots to see and do.
Go, go, go!!!

Croatia is gorgeous. Go to some of the small islands which are heavenly.

It is a beautiful country. I was on Brac years ago and it was lovely. I know a few people who were there and they had a great time.

Hey girls can i ask what was the weather like in Croatia in September. We are getting married on the 7th September and vaguely considering going to St Petersburg for a few days and then either Dubrovnik or Montenegro as both look amazing.
Do you think it would be sunbathing weather in say the middle of September ? thanks a mill

I was there in 2004. Stayed in Cavtat which is a little fishing village about 30mins drive from dubrovnik. We absolutely loved it. Such a relaxing holiday. No mad nightlife where we were though, but it suited us. Went to dubrovnik for a day. Regret not seeing more of the area. Will def go back some day!

September will be beautiful and you'll have missed a lot of the tourist crowd too.
