I'm may 07 too, The 6th, yep a sunday wedding. I've done the following

church, music for church, draft of the booklet, music for the church, flowers, bridesmaids dresses, my dress, band, completed pre marraige course, ribbons for the cars, ring cushion, cake top, videographer, photographer, DJ, Rings, honeymoon, draft invite list, my dad is doing the design and print of invites. Got flower girls dress, Using a friends car hopefully. booked mobile hairdresser and makeup artist and im in the process of bookin trials for the gang !


is it too early to order cake ? and when is a good time to do the guys suits ?

I have that awful feeling though that i'm going to forget something so reading this forum is great to remind me !

Where are you going on honeymoon? Actually, where is everyone going on honeymoon? We haven't booked anything yet, but are thinking about Safari and Mauritius.... :)

B2B-May, we are going for a cruise, because even though I love to sit in the sun, he doesn't and it wouldnt' be fair so a cruise seemed like a good idea for both of us, it leaves miami and goes to Mexico, jamaca, hispanola, cayman islands and back to Miami, for 7 days, we are going to spend a few days in NY and head home.

We were a bit hesitant about booking a cruise, cause of the amount of blue rinse brigaders on cruises but we've spoken to loads of people and they said that its really popular for honeymooners and depending on the cruise you pick so after much investigation this seemed like a good option

it wasn't that expensive considering its a week long, to 4 / 5 countries, and all food is included...(except for drink)

best of luck with your choice, My friend went to Mauritius and said it was fab.

Think we are going to sandals in cuba, probably will book it tommorow

I am going to Cuba on holiday for 2 weeks in November - not staying in Sandels as this isn't our honeymoon but I'll let you know how we get on!! I can't wait!!

Any other May07 brides still not found their dress yet??

I don't have my dress yet and am getting a little worried...

I completely missed this post and have literally posted a request for any May brides - I'm delighted there are so many of us! We're getting married on Friday May 4th in Tuscany and I can't wait!

I haven't gotten my dress either - to be honest I've only started looking recently! I've an appointment with Bridal Heaven next week apparently they are very good!

hey girls Im the 25th May in Roma - I got my dress about a month or so ago - I would recommend Beautiful Brides in Newbridge the girls are lovely & they have fab dresses that are defo cheaper than Dublin shops for the same dresses - happy shopping "!

I hope to send out my invites about 8 weeks before the wedding as we are getting married the Bank Holiday weekend and people may be thinking of going away.

I think traditionally people send them out about 6 weeks before the big day.

Hi all may brides!!
We are gettin married on 17th May 07, and like the rest of you, i am soo looking forward to it.. We got engaged this may so the year is flying up, have most of the work done but havent even thought about the likes of invites, mass booklets etc... and gong looking for bridesmaid dress in the next 2 weeks! Men have to wait to book suits, until i decide what colour bridesmaids are going to be...

We getting married 17th May 07. Cant wait for it all to happen. We got engaged last may so the year is flying.
Have most of the important stuff booked and have my dress. Havent even thought about invites or mass booklets - going to try to make them myself. Going bridesmaids shopping next week so looking forward to that. havent even thought about what colour i want or style.. !
