We booked our honeymoon yesterday for Mexico and Las Vegas next july!! So exciting, I have been smiling ever since!
We booked 9 nights in the Moon Palace and 4 nights in Caesars Palace in Vegas.
Lady Penelope, thanks for all your advice, I rang Adrieanne in Twohigs and ended up booking with her, their price was the best around. |

Quick question for anyone who has been to Mexico before?
Do they accept US dollars or do you need to get Mexican pesos going there?
Any advice on this would be great, thanks |

No i didnt actually Lady Penelope, I must say it next time Im talking to her!
I live outside Dublin so I booked it all over the phone with her, but I must say I found her very helpful and she gave lots of good advice on Vegas.
I just cant wait now, I went out yesterday and bought a book on Vegas! I wish it was sooner than next July!
At this rate, so many people are talking about Moon palace on WOL, that it'll be full of Irish people, how bad! |

Hi girls was going to post a message to ask about where to stay in Cancun but can see that this message already exists and that the Moon Palace seems to be the place to stay - we were looking at staying there too - we looked at a number of other hotels - LeBlanc, Marriott, Meriden but they are 2-3 times the price of the Moon Palace. I think that the Moon Palace looks cool and based on your reviews is a great place to stay.
Just have to ask about nitelife in Cancun - where's the best place to go - is Cancun safe etc.

i got prices with cassidy travel today in blanch, 10 nights in moon palace and 4 nights in the venitian hotel las vegas, the whole lot is 6400 for july next year,. expensive enough ihope its worth it. |

Its meant to be safe. One piece of advice I was given was to stick to orgnised tours as opposed to travelling to some parts of mexico on your own. Moon Palace have free tours so that sorts that! Wonder if any of us will be there at the same time! _________________

Thanks for the feedback Li Li and Lady Penelope, I'm going to book Moon Palace tomorrow - yip I'm sure some people using the site are bound to end up in Cancun the same week as each other. We're going to Miami and on a carribbean cruise b4 hand so will be first week in Apil when we arrive in Cancun - not that far off now - happy days!!! _________________

They do if you ring their office in Burgh Quay. I dealt with a girl there called Adrieanne, very helpful, we booked Moon Palace with her. |

Basic - Sundays
Bulldog - Fridays
Coco Bongos - ( anynight except Saturdays - locals night)
other good ones are Dady O`s Daddy Rock and Senor Frogs.
I would recommend the Party Hopper, pay �50 and you do a crawl of 4 or 5. Some hotels take a bus load each night to a club for $40 (entry & free bar) although I can`t recall Moon Palace doing it when I was there, but that may have changed.
