going to thailand for our honeymoon.we want to stay 2 or 3 nights in bangkok.
at the moment we can't decide between the banyan tree or the oriental!
has anyone been to either of these hotels?any recommendations please?

Don't know of either of those places but I can recommend Buddy Lodge on the Koh San Road. Fabulous hotel with rooftop pool and it also has a spa. Very reasonable.

I've stayed in the Shangri La, which is one of the top 5 hotels in the world and it's actually totally affordable. It is the most stunning hotel I've ever been in. You can google it and do a virtual tour of the hotel. It's all marble and gold....out of this world, would highly highly recommend it for your honeymoon!!

I have friends who stayed in Pathumwan Princess, MBK Centre, Bangkok
4 * hotel, they thought it was fab.
