hi all , just got a quote back for a fairy light back drop of 900 euro, i think this is rather expensive, did anyone get a cheaper quote than this?if so can you let me know where, many thanks............

god that is expensive
it'd be cheaper to buy loads of them and make your own! they're only about �20 each to buy

ya i was thinking that too but the hotel is around an hour away from my house there is a wedding there the night before too, stress, have to leave from hotel morning of the wedding so i wont have time to be doing it myself, thanks for the idea though i think that im getting a bit carried away with all these wedding plans, 900 is alot of money for a few fairy lights as nice and all as they look

ya no worries, it was ct weddings i got their no from WOL, its 300 deposit and 900 alltogether.

down in cork, should have said that included putting the lights up as well with netting , stil think its expsensive though

Yeah its really expensive ......there is a new shop in Clonmel after opening called Receptions. I'm getting them to do my table arrangements and they are so nice and so reasonable. You can hire or buy things and they will go to your venue and dress it for you. I don't know whether they do fairy lights but they were willing to go off sourcing vases for me so it would be worth ringing them.

that sounds good, to be honest the weddings not til next oct , but once christmas comes it will fly so im trying to be as organised as possible, may be i will ask the experts here on WOL if they have any solutions, there's nothing cheap is there really when it comes down to it !!!thanks again for your help and best of luck with your big day !!

hi, i know it miles away from you, but u could prob order via phone...flamingo display do the lights ur talking about, dnt know exact price to cover the space ur lkg for, but no where near 900e,get sumone to put them up for u, they stay up with hooks, very easy...

thats good to know when i told my SIL last night about the other lights she nearly had a stroke , couldnt believe it, said wouldnt i be better off spending it on my honeymoon, but i'll check your crowd out and see can i get a better deal, its an autumn wedding and i think it would look fab!!!!!thanks again

Why dont you consider hiring a Starcloth Backdrop for the day. A few companies in Cork have them.
