I haven't heard anything myself about them, but thinking of going there for a trial for hair and make up, just looking for some feedback |

my bm's friend went in with her comb tiara and on the trial they broke part of the tiara off to fit with her hair without even asking her! Thats the only bad thing I heard
I am getting makeup done at the mac counter that morning and hair in The Sanctuary. _________________ Shelly

Thanks scposie, god that sounds a bit now, breaking the comb without even asking!! I didn't realise that you could have your make up done at the make up counters on the day of your wedding?!!! Interesting.... |

i have only used the beauty part for facials/nails/waxing etc
have heard that the hair is only so so in there
my friend had a make-up trial and didn't like it -she said she was caked, went for make-up with Christian Dior in BT and that was lovely on the day.
if i was you go to Mac in BT's (are you in Limerick???) if so go there - Mandy is excellent and really nice on that counter _________________ |

Thanks Charli, yep I'm in Limerick. Whats the story about getting a trial done at the make up counters in BT's? Do you have to purchase a number of items and then book a trial? |

Mandy is sound!
She is doing our make up, we were getting her to call out to the house but as hair being done in town, decided to do it at the counter, hair dressers on same Thomas St. so very close to each other. _________________ Shelly

mac trial same as just a normall make up session, �25 and then you get to purchase �25 of makeup!
So its paying for the makeup but the money is just so your make up done for nothing if you know what I mean? _________________ Shelly

yeah - that is it it's 25e yo yos for the make-up (whether it's wedding day, trial, debs, night out whatever) then it's re-deemable on any products - so say you could get the lippy and liner or whatever that she uses and you'll have had your face done as well!!!
give it a go anyway - they get booked up especially saturdays so make inquiries!!!
Halo on Roches Street is best for hair imo - Caren for upstyles _________________ |
