We are together 3 years and 2 months. He told me a month after meeting me that he would marry me someday! He popped question 10 months later but I thought it was too soon. He asked again when we were 1 yr and 4 months together and I said yes, then bought house 4 months later.
We met when we were 29.
No point in hanging around at our age!!!
But I always loved the idea of marrying your childhood sweetheart - shame mine turned out to be such an >?'%7*#

We'll be together 6 and 1/2 years when we get married.

We were in primary school together but didn't get together til we were 20. Still good things come to those who wait.
