I know someone who used it about 2 years ago and they reckoned that less than half of the post was forwarded on to the new address...

I used an post and paid to have my post forwarded for 6 months. So far no problems. As they post arrived to my temporary address I contacted the senders and changed my address with them then. I even contacted the new owners of my old house and they said no post had arrived belonging to us. So I can't say anything bad about their redirection service. In a whole I think An post are a law onto themselves though!

My parents moved house almost 3 years ago and applied to An Post for change of address, paid for the service and everything and post STILL goes to their old house!

I moved recently and used www.newaddress.ie - Couldnt recommend them enough, EVERYTHING was changed and all my bills, bank statements etc changed immediately to my new address - saved me a lot of time and energy.

Agree with the others about An Post. we bought a house 7 months ago and the old owners used An Post's re-direction service. We still get some of their post and have to forward it on. Is a joke

I did it last year when we moved. Didnt get half of our post! We had to go to the sorting office ourselves when we realised things were missing and found heaps of post that had built up over about 6 months.
