I really wanted cameras on all the tables but am beginning to wonder now if they don't come back to you at the end of the night.

Also was the general picture quality of the cameras any good?

Love the idea of the album, saw it on an american website.

ask the best man in his speech to say that if people could hand the cameras to a member of the family when they're finished. We got all ours back no problem - when they were finished people just dropped them up to the immediate family table!!!!
The quality was brilliant!

Mrs NoDateYet,

That is a brilliant idea. Thanks for that, its a good way of reminding everyone politely that you want the cameras back. Thanks again.

Yep good tip - must say it to the Best man too. My sister bought us a pack of disposable cameras and a guestbook. I had originally planned though on doing the polaroid suggestion as I'd seen it on WOL a while ago. What I'm thinking now is i'll still leave the disposable cameras on the tables and ask guests to return them and hopefully we'll get at least some good photos out of them. I'll also try to get my hands on a polaroid camera and have someone in charge of taking group photos with that and just stick the photos into the guestbook then and there and ask the people in each group to sign the guestbook beside their picture. Hopefully it works out!

Hi Girls
I got the camera in Argos on their buy more pay less and put them on every table our best man asked people to keep them for the night and he would collect them from them.. They sat in my spare room for a year as I never got round to leaving them in then on my wedding anniversary this year my brother and his wife gave us an album with all the photos in it. they snuck the camera out of the house to get them done. They spent so long putting them in order in the album and they are brilliant.. Really got to see everyone enjoying the night. It really depends on your budget. I think if you have saved elsewhere and have some spare cash go ahead and get them but I wouldnt buy the wedding packs as they are cheap cameras the ones in Argos were Kodak and had a flash so the photos were good quality....

Hmmm..still undecided about what to do re guest photos / guest book. Have bought my guestbook from Lantz but but the polaroid idea has taken my fancy too.

Decisions, decisions

Instead of cameras we have blank discs to leave with the guest book and envelopes addressed to us so people can download their digital photos and post them back to us.

just reckon if they have something solid they will put their digital photos on it and send it back rather than waiting on an email. Really cheap too.
