Just wondering how many of you had a full mass (i.e. communion) for your wedding ceremony?

I think I would like to, but was also wondering how much more time you have to allow for this?

Someone on another thread mentioned that it takes about 40/45 mins for the ceremony without communion, so I was just wondering how long it takes if you are having communion?

we had communion

and it took about 45 mins including communion

Without communion took 30mins - I've been to many weddings with communion which took 1hr.

not having it, but its because of different religions
but it does take a while too

We weren't going to have the communion as hubby is not of any religion but so glad we did in the end as it just added to the service, only changed our mind about 2 weeks before the wedding. The service went so quick i couldn't even tell you how long it was but i think it's normally about an hour with and 30mins without.

I had the communion and it all only took 45 mins.

TBH it was the only time during the mass when we could have a bit of a chat and a laugh!
