The Irish Rat Pack have returned to Weddings On Line to fill in the gaps in our diary for 2009 and 2010 and are doing deals on price that will leave “Harvey Norman” in the shade.
The Irish Rat Pack are possibly the biggest and most celebrated wedding band in Ireland and have been since 2002 performing at over 100 weddings a year.
Fronted by The Sunday Independent’s most famous gossip columnist Jason O’Callaghan, the bands list of achievements leave couples in no doubt about who is the real thing when it comes to Ireland’s best wedding band.
Ireland’s most sought after and well known wedding band, the Irish Rat Pack were Ireland’s first Rat Pack band after being formed at the 2002 Rat Pack ball.
Now we have countless people, most of who started with us trying to copy our success by calling themselves one type of Rat Pack or another.

PACKAGES
The Wedding and Party show (4 piece band and DJ)
- This package features Jason O’Callaghan(Sunday Independent/FM104/Q102) in person and not a stand in singer
- Full backing band (we do not use backing tracks) we use 3 musicians (drums, guitar plus keyboard with left hand bass.) All musicians also sing.
- We include PA system and full lighting rig including starcloth backdrop (we own all our own gear so if required can set up early lighting and DJ equipment)
- This price for this package includes travel to venues under one hour of Dublin (if you hotel is further we can quote you a travel fee on top of the above price)
- The band will play for two hours straight with no breaks. Plus for a small extra fee we can include a DJ after for more two hours,
- Jason will do DJ himself to ensure the music you want is played on the night and can offer you the chance to pick your own DJ set list if you wish. He does not use a MP3 player but laptop and CD’s. Jason worked on the original Strawberry Alarm Clock on FM104 with Colm Hayes (now with 2FM) and also contributed to all major radio shows including Gerry Ryan and Ian Dempsey. Recently he spent a number of years working with Dublin Q102.
EXTRAS
- Recommended: Add a female singer to the line up, this adds music to the set list such as Abba and Tina Turner
- Add a sax player to the line up to play some Glen Miller and salsa numbers such as Tequila.

WHAT MUSIC DO WE PLAY?
Despite our name The Irish Rat Pack does not just play Swing music but also music from all the greats of Las Vegas. These include Elvis, Tom Jones, Barry White, The Blues Brothers and Neil Diamond.
Plus all the greats from the sixties including The Beatles and The Monkees. We can also throw in a bit of Joe Dolan for the Mammy, Rock and Roll for the Daddy or Old time Waltz’s for the Granny if required.

Unlike other less professional outfits with The Irish Rat Pack you can see us online, read reports from our customers and then print booking form and pay your deposit via PayPal on our website right now.
To confirm a booking a non-refundable deposit cheque of 607 euro (500 euro off your fee plus 107 euro VAT) should be made out to Jason O’Callaghan and posted with a booking form to 90 South Lotts Road, Dublin 4. Bookings will be taken on a first come first served basis. The band will not be booked and your date will not be secured until deposit is received along with booking form. If you do not have a chequebook you can send cash by registered post along with your booking form. We can also accept bank transfers but please ensure you add VAT.
The remainder of the fee will be due on the night in cash BEFORE our performance and paid directly to the band OR if making final payment by cheque/bank transfer/Paypal it should be paid one month in advance along with VAT.
The deposit is non refundable to ensure that the band and singers have some type of compensation should you cancel or change the date of your event as we will at that stage have turned down other parties for that date.
It also gives you piece of mind that the band are booked for your big day. We do not provisionally hold any dates and once booked.
Unlike other bands we will not cancel to take another event that offers more money.
