The Stone House at Moyvalley is a sensitively restored period building that can cater for civil wedding ceremonies of up to 100 people. Overlooking the gardens of the 19th century Balyna House, The Stone House is the perfect setting in which to exchange your vows. Fully approved for Civil Registration Ceremonies, The Stone House at Moyvalley is the perfect setting in which to say 'I Do.'

From the moment you say 'yes' to a wedding proposal a million other questions come to mind. By choosing Balyna House for your wedding day all these questions are taken on board by our dedicated wedding co-ordinator and answered with ease and grace.
Balyna House is available on an exclusive basis and caters for weddings of up to 80 guests. Hidden away from all other facilities on the estate this 19th century Italianate mansion will become your own magnificent backdrop for the most important day of your life.
In the run up to your wedding day Balyna's wedding co-ordinator is on hand to cater for all your needs. From flowers to reception menus, music to photography, all aspects of your wedding will be taken care of leaving you to relax and enjoy all that goes with the run-up to this momentous occasion.
You will have the opportunity to come and meet with your co-ordinator on a number of occasions to discuss ideas and themes for what will be a truly unique event, fitting to you and your groom and taking into account your personalities and lifestyles.
When your wedding day finally arrives your wedding party will enjoy the total privacy afforded by this property. Recently restored, this beautiful manor house offers unrivalled views of the Darren Clarke designed Moyvalley Golf course, the estate's immaculate landscaped gardens and the graceful trees that have stood guard over the house for hundreds of years.
The sweeping driveway of the house runs up to the grand entrance from which you and your guests will alight into the inner hall. Once inside, a visual delight awaits with the broad main stairway of the house curving upwards, right to the very top of the house. Immediately the eye is drawn up to the spectacular stained glass dome, one of Balyna's most stunning features.
All 10 bedrooms in Balyna House are en suite, some having traditional claw baths and many maintaining their original Victorian fireplaces. Your wedding party can immediately settle in to the impressive dining room with original plasterwork and magnificent bay windows ensuring further great viewing of those mature landscaped gardens. Additional rooms, for your sole use in the house, include a lounge and breakfast room.
Once the finest fare of your sumptuous wedding feast has been consumed your guests can retire to your very own Cellar Bar. This bar was the original kitchen of the house and is unique in that it allows in lots of natural light. Here your private wedding celebrations can continue in full swing right through the night.
An added feature for your special day is the charming little chapel, just behind the main house, which is available to you and your groom for a blessing, thus creating a further treasured memory to take with you on leaving this most genteel of places.
On waking up the day after your wedding celebrations, you and your groom can enjoy the luxury of a champagne breakfast. You and your wedding party can then toast your union by taking to the greens and enjoying a round of golf on the Darren Clarke designed Moyvalley Golf Course.
