Gerry has been hugely successful in many different areas of the Business. From Writing songs Studio recording / Live Performing / Acting in several theatre plays and movies/ Producing Plays and Movies, including Agnes Browne starring Angelica Houston and Tom Jones / Artist Management / and Promotions, and events co-ordinator. Gerry has covered the entire entertainment spectrum. He is also seen regularly on RTE / TV3.
Many different artists have recorded Gerry's songs, including The Dublin City Ramblers and Tony Vincent, Finbar Furey, and Brendan O Carroll.
Gerry Browne and BLUE was formed by Colin Goodall who has produced top class stage shows in Ireland / Scotland / England / US. This show is a combination of Contemporary Pop Music - Motown - Blues - and some good old Rock n Roll. This Show contains a brilliant 4-piece band playing a great selection of old and new Music. The superb Vocal talents of all 4 on stage from Gerry and Colin and From New York City, Lead Guitarist / Vocalist John Heffernan. Also from Dublin The Brilliant Female Vocalist “Louise Byrne”
The instrumentation on stage ranges from 3 Acoustic Guitars- 2 Electric Guitar -Electric Mandolin -Keyboards - Piano- add to this the 4 superb singers & harmony Vocals.
At this show there is something for all Music lovers. You will hear songs From the 60s 70s 80s 90s, right up to the present day. From artists like Robbie Williams -The Monkees, Tina Turner--Thin Lizzy - REM- Eric Clapton- The Beatles-Simon and Garfunkel- Shania Twain- James Brown- Garth Brooks- -Wilson Pickett- Van Morrison- Gabrielle - The Pogues- The Furey Brothers,- Toploader - Oasis - Neil Diamond, The Eagles - Anastasia - Gloria Gaynor- Tom Jonesand if required a selection of old and more recent Irish Ballads and Traditional music. This show has it all.
GBP are very much a “ONE STOP WEDDING SHOP” We also cater for all types of Wedding Entertainment needs, From Harpist / Guitarists / Singers for the Church. To Pre-Reception String Quartet, Celebrity Guests or just a DJ. No wedding reception is too big or small.

Gerry did our wedding Anniversary for us 3 weeks ago in The Deerpark Hotel in Howth. Brilliant night, they did a great mix of pop swing and Irish songs. He had my dance floor full, nothing was too much for him, we changed our song for 1st dance, 3 times , oops, and each time he learned the song, he did a conga around the room in the middle of his show... mad, also his DJ was great fun, so thanks a mill, to you all .....
