Beauty Tips... for the Groom!

As the object of so much attention, looking your very best should be important. By Karen Healy

Have you ever considered how many times you're going to be kissed, hugged, touched and looked at on your wedding day? Well, if the answer is "no", then you may want to start thinking about it.

  • If dandruff is a problem, ask your stylist to recommend a shampoo to improve your scalp and diminish flakes.

  • Skin, your body's largest organ, is constantly changing. Protect it well by purchasing a combination moisturiser/sun screen.
  • Don't shave your sideburn too short or you'll end up making your face look round. The general rule is that sideburns should reach the centre of the inner ear.
  • Should your lack of hair be troubling you, don't be tempted to stretch a few long bits across your bare patch.
  • Stand tall. Drooped shoulders and an arched back give you a "bad attitude look", not exactly the image of the happy, handsome groom you're meant to be on your wedding day.
