The Baroque Delight Concert Touroffers the audience not only a superb concert of well known baroque music, played and sung, visually enhanced with voluptuos baroque dresses, but also the opportunity to dive into a time of long forgotten musical heritage and treasures.
Karin Leitner(www.karinleitner.com) has been touring Ireland for the last fifteen years with various chamber music partners. Her big passion are historic houses and castles. She has played for Kevin Spacey recently (see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9i2dbxC5GHs)is touring worldwide with solo and chamber music concerts and writes her own music, which sounds celtic, filmic and orchestral. She composed her latest CD “Earthmagic” on the Birr Castle Estate.
The programme will also contain one of her self composed pieces “Faerie Song” with lyrics from W.B.Yeats.
Mary McCague, (www.marymccague.com) a former student of international pianist Dr. John O’ Conor and legendary violin teacher, Rev. Brendan McNally holds a First Class Honours Masters in Music Performance from the Royal Irish Academy of Music. Mary has performed at many music festivals throughout Ireland and Europe and has won numerous prestigious awards. She has performed as a soloist, chamber musician and piano accompanist in prestigious venues throughout Ireland, including the National Concert Hall and the Helix, and has worked on a freelance basis with the RT� Concert Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra and the Irish Chamber Orchestra.
Mary regularly appears on ‘The Late Late Show’ where she has performed with Michael Bubl�, Westlife, Leona Lewis, Rod Stewart, Phil Coulter, Katherine Jenkins, Il Divo and numerous other top acts. She also performed as a soloist on RT�’s ‘The View.’ In addition, Mary has played at the Meteor Awards with various artists and performed on stage at the Point Theatre with KanyeWest.
Kerstin Doelle (www.kerstin-doelle.com)was in the ensembleof the “Komische Oper Berlin”, was representing Germany at the International Festival of Music in Harbin, China and performed at the Silk Festival for the King of Thailand in the Royal Palace in Bangkok. She sang at the Merrion Square in Dublin for the EC representation and performed the whole Farinelli repertoire worldwide. She will also sing 2 of the very famous Farinelli arias on the Baroque Delight Concert Tour.
