Oh baby it’s cold outside, so if you’re having a wonderful winter wedding, you’ll need to consider what to wear over your dress! Don’t try to run between the house and car, car and ceremony, ceremony and venue in just your strapless guna - a blue skin tone and goosebumps are never a good look for wedding photos!
There’s no need to compromise on style either because there are so many different options for brides!
Fur
Fur cover-ups are big this season and you’ll find them everywhere! White furs look really classic but why not buck the trend and go for an alternative colour like pink to match your bridesmaids or as your ‘something blue’?

Cardigans
Cardigans evoke a sense of warmth and can add a real chic contrast when draped over an elegant wedding gown. Cosy and really homely, cardigans are becoming a big hit for winter weddings.

Coats
If cutesy isn’t to your liking, opt for a leather style jacket or a blazer. The gold sparkly jacket and the blazers (below) are also perfect for keeping your shoulders covered but staying right on-trend.

Boleros
Boleros have always been in style as perfect wedding cover-ups. We love these ruffles, particularly the ruffles made out of wool, which will add an extra dimension to your overall look. Lace boleros are really classy and will give your dress a totally different look.
