Barely into the New Year and The Ice House, Co. Mayo is fast becoming the �Adel� of the hotel industry as they scoop their SECOND major award for 2012.
Crowned “Exclusive Wedding Venue of the Year” at the recent 3rd annual WeddingsOnline.ie Awards ceremony, Vicki Buckley and Tracey Flatterly were delighted to receive this coveted award on behalf The Ice House .
Over 17,000 brides and grooms nationwide voted for their Top 100 Wedding Suppliers and Top 50 Venues, who were then judged by an expert panel based on quality of work and a real wedding experience. Three hundred people attended the gala dinner and awards ceremony.
“The WeddingsOnline.ie Annual Awards have been a huge success in recognising the hard work, dedication and quality of service that is provided by the many wedding suppliers throughout the Irish Wedding Industry, including bridal shops, photographers, musicians and venues,” said Peter Bryans, MD WeddingsOnline.ie Ltd.
It was only last month that The Ice House received Trip Advisor’s accolade of coming 1st in a list of 25 prestigious hotels in Ireland under the category ‘Relaxation and Spa’, in the "Travellers Choice Awards 2012" Best 25 Hotels.
