Phil’s innate talent and passion for his work is evident in every image that makes it into each wedding album he produces. A look at his blog shows the incredible dedication Phil gives to every wedding he shoots, telling the story of the entire day through artistic and colourful shots. His posed/traditional photos look uncommonly natural (no mean feat!) and his documentary-style photos artistically and tenderly capture even the smallest undetected, intimate moments between family members or guests.
Since setting up Give us a Goo Photography, Phil reckons he’s “photographed roughly: 150 brides, 152 grooms, 1500 people crying, 15,000 people laughing, 5000 kisses, 450 bridesmaids, 300 Grooms, 120 cake cutting moments (including staged cuttings), 75 first dances, 70 best man speeches, countless flower arrangements, umpteen happy pageboys and flower girls, gazillion crying babies, too many drunk uncles, plentiful tired grandmothers and most of all a bejillion precious moments that makes us go ‘ahhhhhhhhhhh’.”
