right or wrong
quick question everyone... Slept it out a bit this morning so was in a rush getting kids to school.. Shouted the other half when i was getting up, when i got back he was still in bed sleeping. Called him again telling him he was late, so he gets up and gets on the laptop for 15mins. He then comes down the stairs and asked me 2 iron his t-shirt as he was late, i told him no... A row starts with him telling me im lazy and never 2 ask him 2 do anything for me again.. This is all very childish i know, but he seems 2 think that it is my fault and wants an apology which i refuse to give as i dont feel that i was in the wrong.. Things have escalated with us now not speaking because of something stupid.. Opinions!!

Re: right or wrong
Think he is completely out of order tbh. He didn't help at all with the kids-who belong to both of you, is late through his own fault, and expects you to wake him and to iron his shirt on command? Does he think you are his skivvy? Does he not know how to use an iron? I'd be seriously telling him to cop on and do his share and if he carried on with that behaviour he will be sorry. He should def be apologising.
Re: right or wrong
Thanks for the reply Islandlil.. I was beginning to think i was going mad and that maybe i should have just ironed it. I have no problem getting the kids to school every morning as he does work.. Its just his attitude since i said no this morning. I do feel that he takes what i do for granted as he threw it in a couple of times that he will be in work all day while im sitting on my ass.. god if only that were true lol.. He has since told me not to use the car as he is doing me no more favours lol.. I in the end decided 2 let him take care of himself this evening in regards dinner as i am fed up being taken for granted.. He seriously needs to grow up!!!
Re: right or wrong
UGH this is a thing that drives me bonkers. You are not the sole guardian of your children. He is equally as responsible for getting the kids out on time. I would have clocked him over the head with his laptop

ya im beginning to get more annoyed about this as the day goes on. A day of not speaking and if i dont apologise god knows..

Re: right or wrong
agree with other posters.
Plus if he had 15 mins to go on the laptop he defo had time to iron his own shirt! [url=http://www.TickerFactory.com/]

Re: right or wrong
Thats exactly what i said as well and he told me it was none of my business what time he went to work... Ahhhh why cant he just see that he was wrong and we can get back to normal!!
Re: right or wrong
I am sorry to lol about this but my morning was completely the opposite. Hubbie is on lates this week so this morning was his turn to do the school run. When he did wake me up after 10 he said 'babe I cleaned up downstairs for you so you could enjoy the sun', my hubbie rocks, but I was still half asleep and snapped at him that cleaning up doesn't mean it is a favour for me, it is a mutual responsibility blah blah blah, anyway I feel bad now haha!
Point is, I reckon if your hubby thinks about it over the day he may start to feel bad. I wouldn't press him too much on it, you know what men are like, they hate to admit they are wrong so I would honestly try and let it blow over. Maybe wait a few days, try look at it from his side and then mention it again and say you dont want to row over something so trivial again. Re: right or wrong
Lol at ur situation as well.. Its just more frustrating.. I hate having stupid arguments but im sure it will work itself out in a few days and all will be back to normal

Re: right or wrong
Hi Baby H, he sure did apologise, took him a few days though. Treated me 2 a nice dinner, made by himself as part of the apology..
