Secrets Silversands Cancun Mexico

nickynacky...there doesnt seem 2 b any direct flights from cancun to vegas...think you're looking at about 8-9 hours, which includes a couple of hours stopping! i love SSS too, but wud love to hear from someone whose atually stayed here b4 we finally book....

Where flying to Miami. Then onto cancun. It's 8 hours from London roughly and just over an hour from Miami. Spending 5 nights in Miami and two weeks in Mexico.

We're heading to sss in june for our hm for 7 nights then orlando for 3 nights and new york for 5 nights and it's coming in at about 4,800! i am so excited fir it as sss looks amazing!!

hi

we are getting married june 18th - we got quoted for 4500 for 8 nights in Secret Silver Sands in Cancun and 5 nights in Intercontinental The Barclay (room only) in New York

does this seem steep?

it includes all flights and transfer from airport to SSS and the resort is all inclusive..

it looks amazing on the websites i've looked up..
we are hoping to go around the 23rd of june

any advise from people who have been there? we are meant to book it dec 30th!

Hi there! We are looking at booking honeymoon now this week and we were given a few recommendations for Secrets Silversands! i would love to hear from you who posted here, and have been. Would you recommend this hotel? Is it far from Cancun? is there much to do outside of the resort? Any advice would be really appreciated O-O

Does anyone know if this hotel is central i.e. close to the centre or Cancun or is it a bit out on its own??

As far as I can remember Secrets Silversands is not in Cancun, think its on Rivera Maya & this is outside Cancun on the way to Playa Del Carmen. We were in Cancun twice & stayed in the Hotel Zone & could easily walk to the shopping centres. We stayed in The Royal (part of Real Resorts) & it was excellent.

We stayed in a Secrets St James in Montego Bay Jamaica last year & it was lovely. Think all the Secrets have a very good standard. My sister went to Secrets Maroma in Cancun in January on her honeymoon & they loved it. I must admit that the pictures on the websites & brochures are exact representation of the resort & bedrooms. We love All Inclusive - the way to go. Food is a good standard, we found the food was alot better in Mexico than Jamaica.

We're heading to South Africa & Dubai on honeymoon & its very different to our typical holidays, but we're both really looking forward to it.

Hi all, I have been to Cancun 6 times. Absolutely love it!! My favourite resort to stay in is Excellence Riviera Cancun but that is just personal choice.
Secrets resorts are really top end and very good quality. I stayed in a Secrets in Jamaica a couple of years ago. Amazing!!
Anyway last year my parents stayed in SSS while I was in ERC and I went to visit them. The resort is beautiful, food amazing and great service. Anyone who chooses this will not be disappointed.
Any questions on Cancun, Riviera Maya etc. I am happy to answer.
