Luxury hotel - Ireland

Hey,
Looking for some recommendations for a luxury hotel in Ireland. We're thinking of postponing the full honeymoon until a couple of months after the wedding. But we'd still like to go somewhere for a few days to unwind after the wedding.
What's the best hotel in Ireland you've ever been to? I'm talking 5 star all the way luxury!!

Hey I would totally recommend Dromoland Castle. It is fab, the rooms, grounds, food everything!

Definitely the nicest hotel I've been to in Ireland was the Ritz in Powerscourt....
Got it as a wedding present so was even better cause it was 'free' :o0

We are doing the same......booked into a suite in The Cliff House Hotel in Waterford for 3 nights after the wedding. Haven't been yet so can't comment on that but best hotel I have been to in Ireland would be The Europe in Kerry. The Ritz is nice too but found it a little stiff.

The Cliff hotel is beautiful! I love the Lake hotel in killarney aswell. I'm thinking the same, getting married in april but might wait and go on honeymoon in June or July.

Galgorm Resort in Antrim.The best ive ever been at (and i love my hotels). Google it, can be quite expesive but worth ever penny

The Europe Hotel in Killarney is fab and so is Monart Spa in Wexford!You would really relax there!

Parknasill hotel and resort in Sneem, Kerry is Fab!! really peaceful! also the G in galway is nice.

I don't know if you have already booked somewhere but Ballyfin Demesne in Laois is supposed to be fab. Kanye West and Kim Kardashian stayed there last weekend. Julia Roberts has also stayed there but it is very expensive!

its meant to be fab alright - but about 600 per room per night :-8 :weep
