Photographers:Carlow/Laois/Kildare

Hi,
Im looking for good quality good price!
We have been slow about booking a photographer as there are loads out there at varying prices and we're confused - does dearer mean better? Or are they all similar? We're getting married in mount wollseley in carlow and if you know anyone that shot a wedding there or is based around the area that you can recommend, please let me know. I am interested in the storybook type but am open to others if they are just as nice.. Can anyone give me a quote for storybook? Thanks a million.
PS: We are not willing to pay more than €1800 - so you have an idea. Cheers!

It might also help if you included the date of your wedding in your post just to avoid someone replying and then discovering they are not available.

I got married in Mt Wol last summer and it was fab. My album is gorgeous so I can highly recommend www.rorykellettphotography.com . He is based in Carlow town and has a fab studio defo give him a buzz.

We are getting married in Carlow I will pm you the ladys name and number. Her package cost €750 for disc, 1 large album and 2 smaller albums for the bride and grooms family.
It was the best quote we got and her work is lovely.

Not necessarily, it can, but it also means that, that particular photographer is in high demand too, and they may also have higher overheads etc etc.
What you need to do is find a photographer who's style you like. Then go and meet them and see how you get on. You must remember that the photographer is the only supplier that you're going to interact with through the whole day. So you's will want to feel relaxed in their company, and like their manner. If you're not going to be relaxed around them then you won't get those fun shots in. Photography is all about capturing that once in a life time moment. That every time you look at that photo, it automatically brings a smile to your face, and you relive that day over and over and over again, each time you open your album.
There are a lot dam good photographers on here, and some I'd say have already PM'd you, best of luck with your choice.
