We got engaged on NY Eve so basically have been planning since NY's day! If I'm honest I'd probably say I've been planning since we first got together..... that was 2 and a half years ago - I knew he was the one in the first week of going out!

We've been engaged such a long time now that i thought thats the way its going to stay, and then when he said lets do it next year it was just like ok, just can't get into the buzz, married or not we'll still be together for the rest of our lives.

got engaged at easter so 3months of planning done, 2 to go. didnt do any planning pre-engagement though no-one believes me. am keeping it really simple so all is going to plan so far.

Will be planning my wedding for just over 3 years, just means that it gives us both plenty of time to save money!

All we have organised at the moment is the hotel, but I'm gonna book the church soon. Then I'll prob leave it until late next yr to organise band etc etc.

Can't wait to get stuck in.

booked hotel may 2004 so did a lot then (band church etc. etc.) large scale stuff - dress etc. only since march 2005 for October 2005 wedding so not too long! Couldn't deal with planning any longer - would wreck me little head! :?

Got engaged in October and set the date a month or so later so all in all about 9-10 months in total which is just about right for us as everything is falling into place nicely . . . .
