Think it really depends on the age. If they are at that awkward clingy "I want my mum" sort of stage I would run a mile. Im having 2 pageboys and 1 flowergirl - ages 3, 6 and 7.
They are really excited about it and I know they wont let me down on the day.

i am having two flowergirls one is nine and the other will be one two days after the wedding i know i must be crazy but hopefully it will go without too much hassle the one year old will probably try to eat the horseshoe but we shall see

OF COURSE, WELL WE ALREADY HAVE TWO LITTLE GIRLS ONE IS EIGHT AND THE OTHER IS THREE, AND WERE HAVING HIS NIECE ASWELL SHE'S ONLY SIX SO COULDNT REALLY LEAVE HER OUT

Hi,

We have our Son (4) as pageboy and 2 flower girls (7&8), they will have a great time and will look fantastic! I wanted our son to wear a cream / ivory suit to match the flower girls but he said no he wants to look like his Dad so I just had to give in!

having one page boy my H2Bs nephew who will be 22 months on the big day-god knows what he wil do! But there are contingency plans in place to take him outside if he starts running riot. His mother is one of my bridesmaids so that should help a bit. Wouldnt be without him though-he is going to be in a mini version of my H2Bs sit and will look sooo cute

I'm afraid we won't be having either. We've no kids or nieces or nephews. If we had kids closer to us we'd consider it - they do look cute in photos! We will have a few young cousins there, but for fear their parents might think it's a good idea to shove them up the aisle, they'll all be Xanaxed out of it! :twisted: Best behaved kids EVER at a wedding! :wink:

Having one flowergirl 6 and pageboy 3, h2b's niece & nephew. Having one bridesmaid and haven't found a dress for her yet. Was talking to the mother of the kids last night and I said I'd get the flowergirl a white dress and put a band around the waist same colour as bridesmaid. Well she was not one bit happy that her little girl didn't come first. She told me put the flowergirl in a coloured dress and my bridesmaid in a white dress with a band around her waist to match her little girl.

Well please...............Give me patience!!

Having one pageboy to keep the peace! I didn't want one at all but h2b wanted his cousin/godson who is admittedly very cute, looks like a little version of h2b! But he was ok with not having him but then the childs mother was getting cranky with us and we realised it was because we didn't want her son as pageboy so we asked her to keep the peace!

Hopefully he'll be ok on the day!

I'll be having 2 flowergirls, aged 5 and 3 at the time and a page boy whole be almost 3! It really depends on the child aswell. You'll know by them if they'll be ok with everything on the day!

We had my two cousins - both 2 1/2. They went fine in the rehearsal but when the church was full they totally bailed! Their dads had to walk them up the aisle and held their flower (little pomander balls with baby white roses) so we had two flower men instead! We got a lot of compliments afterwards on being so progressive..... :lol: That is probably the worst thing that happened and if there was any tension/stress it totally diffused it.

We are having my niece and nephew my niece will be ten and is actually a mini-bridesmaid and my nephew is three and a half and will NOT be carrying the rings up the aisle because I dont want my guests to have to crawl around the church looking for the rings, cos knowing him he will prob kick the ring cushion up the aisle ! so I am really just having both of them in their suit and dress so as to include both of them and thats really it ! Little buggers ! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

We're having mini-Moniker - well we couldn't not have her! Anyway she looks completely adorable in her little outfit, and is generally well behaved, albeit really headstrong....... don't think she cause too many problems.

I feel a bit embarrased saying how many we are having....but you must understand we both are the last in our famillys to get married, and all that.......

We are having 9 FLOWERGIRLS

I know we are mad but they will look so lovely all together, and I have to say my sis in USA got all the dresses so they didn't cost that much......I'd say about € 40.00 each

That is the only crazy thing we are having
