I'm getting curls and having it down apart from two bits at the side of my head pulled back to make a sort of half pony thing! Its actually really nice!

growing my hair out at the minute. would absolutely love to have it curled and down with one or 2 bits pulled back of my face. they'l have to set it with cement or something though as my hair is poker straight and dosen't hold a curl very well :roll:

My hair is the same as your poker straight but I got the rags in my hair for our Sten night and it was lovely, really held well everyone was commenting on my hair and saying I should get it done for the wedding - you should give them a try....

If you get them taken out really early and the hairdresser will seperate them with wax...once seperated and dropped they are lovely. No harm in trying it out! I also heard the GHD curls are nice and loose...don't know who does them though. I will see if I can find out who does them for you. Where in the country are you? Best of luck x

most hairdressers do GHD curls, but they are hard to keep in if your hair is thick.
Check the ghd website to see what they look like
thanks B2BAug2005 i'l give it a shot...might have a trial after christmas and put my hair in rags the night before..wait till it has a bit more length in it!

dunno what i'm doing yet.
i went for an upstyle trial to someone i didnt know (1st mistake i know) and first thing i said was i didnt know what i wanted but i didnt want my hair scraped back severely. what do you think i ended up with..yes the croydon facelift with birdsnest on top of my head. i tried to explain i wanted it brought back softly so you could still actually see i have curly hair. but she didnt have curly hair herself and she was just not interested. also it was a saturday and there seems to be some unwritten rule that you get crap service on a saturday for the same money. have since made an another appt in a salon with girl who has long curly hair so i'm hoping that will be better.
Dont know what Im doing yet. Either going to wear it up or chop it all off. Used to have my hair short and loved it and H2B loved it but lots of my friends think long hair suits me too. If I do wear it up the day of the wedding I reckon I could chop it off soon after!
