hats off to anyone with kids who study...

i know a friend of mine and her husband who got married about 2 years ago now, they earn HUGE salaries. i only realised when they came to visit us a few months ago and we were discussing property and i only discovered that they own several properties around dublin - i am shocked! not only that but between them they earn around 16000 a month - after tax!

i also work here with a team of investment managers - and these guys are on 12,000K after tax a month - i kid you not!

College wont necessarily do you any good girls, I went for 10 yrs and am still only earning in the 2-3 bracket. Do business/economics, thats where the money is

Whoops sorry it was me, I put in mine and my husbands combined income which pushes us over the 10K mark after taxes but that is in US $. Unfortunately the dollar isn't very strong but I think it still puts us in the > 7500E range.
My husband is a banking software contractor and I'm in investment banking also.

O-M-G!!! So want to jack in my job and move back home if thats the kind of money ye are all earning!!!!!! I'm a qualified dispensing Optician and the manager of the branch and I bring home £1000 after tax :cry: But then my bosses are mean Scottish Flips :wink:
