My hubby wears no jewellery, not even a watch. He didn't want to wear a wedding ring but when I explained why I wanted him to wear one he came around to the idea :D He hasn't taken it off since the wedding and is now chastising me for taking mine off at nighttime

MY H2b does not wear any jewelery usually. He is not that keen on wearing a ring. BUt I am going to try to make him! I don't wear jewellery usualy either and have gotten used to my engagement ring very quickly. So it won't take long... He is a lecturer and don't trust the girls that he teaches!

My H2B is in a job where there's no way he could wear a wedding ring, he'd take the finger off himself so he won't be wearing it on normal working days. But he said he'd wear it at all other times - I said from the beginning that I wasn't going to buy him a particularly expensive ring because I'd be surprised if he didn't lose it before we got back from our honeymoon!! He's not a jewellery person at all, doesn't even wear a watch and the only other piece of jewellery he ever owned was a graduation ring which he lost a short time after getting it!!

Yeah, mine is the same....not mad about jewellery but he's surprised me with the wedding ring. In fact, I keep catching him trying it on when he thinks I'm not looking and then he won't take it off! I'll swing for him if he loses it before the day!

mine has lost his!!!!
We arent even married three months yet! He takes if off when playing footie or working in the garden and in the shower etc. In fairness it was a little loose on him.

He is so very upset - so prayers to St Anthony will have to be said I think. Have to check the washing machine yet as think it may have come off in the bedclothes or similar?? cant think where else it would be.

Gonna buy him a similar one and get him to get our local priest to bless it... will make him ask him to bless it though.. .the least he could do!!

Hi
my H2B isn't a fan of jewellry either. He does wear a chain I gave him and occassionally the ring I gave him a few Christmas' ago, but he has said that he'll definitely be taking the ring off when he plays tennis or football. It doesn't bother me though, actually I should probably be the one who doesn't wear my wedding ring as I am so prone to losing rings!

From the time I met my hubby he has always hated mens jewellery and would wear nothing only a watch. Once he proposed he said of course
he would wear a wedding ring. We are 10 weeks married and everytime
I look at him he is twirling it around his finger. Says he is looking for the
'combination'

my h2b also hates jewellery, we were at a friends wedding a few weeks ago and we were discussing him wearing a wedding ring, and he said he would leave it on him for the wedding day and then take it off, but i'm going to get it made a bit smaller so he can't get it off

No also works in construction and I couldn't live with myself if he lost a finger because of me making him wear a ring. I've said it before and I'll say it again, it means nothing, a ring does not make a man faithful to his wife or work like garlic to a vampire in warding off other women. Yes, it is a symbol that you are married, but in fairness if someone does not wear a ring, are they any the less married? I think not.
