h2b wearing wedding ring ?

Postby MRS H TO BE » Fri Jul 15, 2022 7:42 pm

heya was wondering what ur thought are on h2b wearing a wedding ring.

my h2b has this bizarre idea of getting a tattoo on his wedding finger as he says its dangerous for men to wear rings in construction work etc, he knows a lad who's finger got chopped of in a machine when his ring got caught !

i dont mind him getting one done. he said he'll wear the ring when he's not working.

well if he works in constuction then thats a fair argument against wearing one - you dont want to make him and then one day he comes home with no finger
saying i told you so !

I would be pissed off if h2b wouldnt wear wedding ring - if he got a tattoo then fair nuff - i know it sounds insecure and honestly Im not its just that i like the idea of people knowing hes mine - and it looks really well on him too - he likes it though so no worries!!

my dad "lost" his so we got him a hand made one for his wedding aniversary so hes no excuses now

my h2b is not a jewellery person at all. I bought him a chain a few years back and he wears it all the time since but thats it. He said the only other thing he will put near him was his wedding band when the time comes.

I know a guy who claims to be allergic to jewellery and so doesn't wear a wedding ring...and let's just say he takes advantage of it...

My H2b is not a jewellry person at all and only wears a chain that he got for his 21st - other than that he says the only other piece he will wear I am glad to say is his wedding ring - and he indirectly works in the construction business !

My h2b only wears a watch so after we got engaged I asked whether he wanted to wear a wedding ring or not. He looked at me like I had two heads!! Of course I'm going to wear one, he said!

Said he'd be wary of a guy he wouldn't wear one.

He designed his own ring too! :D

Hi

We had a "discussion" about this the other week :? H2b is a carpenter and says he wont be wearing his wedding ring to work as he has known guys to get their rings caught in machinery and lose their finger..or seriously injure themselves!! He'll wear it at all other times but just not out to work.

My H2B will be wearing a ring (works in office) which is handy, he is not a jewellery person but seems quite excited bout his wedding band and lead the way to jewellers to buy it
However can see where your H2B coming from my dad worked on construction and almost lost his finger when his ring got caught on scaffold never wore a ring since

My hubby is an electrician and never wears any jewellry, but when we got married he started wearing his ring all the time on honeymoon and when we came home he actually went out and bought an identical wedding ring in sliver to wear while in work and his actual wedding ring on weekends. I was very suprised but delighted

Ms Shamrock,
I am in the same boat as you, H2B works in a Chemistry lab and so wont wear it to work for fear it gets damaged but says he will wear it outside work - he thinks that any guy who wont wear one is a bit suss too !

Thankfully my H2B is in Sales so he has no excuse! But my Dad worked in construction for years and never wore his ring to work. He can tell too many stories of people having serious accidents because of them. Once he wears it going out I wouldn't worry.

Im the type of person that believes once the ring goes on it shouldnt ever come off....however if your h2b works in construction then fair enough, but id make him put it on friday night and not take it off till sunday night.

Or

He could wear it around his neck on a chain.

My hubbie is a plumber and hasnt taken his off since our wedding in may,it drives me mad seeing married men out without their rings

My H2B is not into jewellery either but is looking forward to wearing his wedding ring. He works in an office so there is no danger in getting it caught in work.

You could always shove his hand under the sunbed with the ring on
