Between 500 & 1000 for us! We are using Aaron Leavy for the wedding, mainly picked him because of price, but also his samples were nice too!

total costs between 1200 - 1500 depending on how many large extra prints we are getting.. (still working that out!!)

We chose www.dgphotos.net Declan Gilmore is the guys name. I wanted really relaxed pictures with the few obligatory family snaps thrown in too.
He was fantastic, gave me all the proofs to keep (about 240!) and got exactly the types of pictures we wanted.

couldnt recommend him highly enough.

In total it's costing us 2300. We have picked Photohouse in Portmarnock. The photos were something that we were prepared to spend more money on than anything else to be honest. We were so impressed with Pat and Claire, we loved their artistic flair with the manipulation of black & white with colour and they are lovely people. We did a lot of research in this area and I've no doubts we made the right choice!

I would have to choose my hubby

His prices start at E1600(£1150) upwards and this seems to be normal up North for good photogrpahers - must be doing something right  as we do almost 100 weddings per yr and people are booking 2-3yrs in advance so they make sure to get him.

We are paying €1200 to Pat McCoole from Thurles and we picked him firstly because the photographer we wanted was booked up  and also because his work is very good lovely relaxed shots like snozberry said and the family ones too ! And also he is a really nice relaxed guy easy to talk to and very easy going

Charlie McGeever from Killaloe - expensive at close to €3000 - but stays until 10pm. Its reportage so no hours of possing and the price includes high res. files of all our pictures he normally takes between 800 and 1500 shots. Don't feel to guilty because we are not having a video.

Hi,
We are paying somewhere around €2,000 for our photographer. Final price depends on our final choice of album etc which we haven't decided on yet. We are going with Healy Rimmington in Cork. Decided on these as we went around to loads of photographers in Cork and just felt very comfortable with William. Loved his work and felt that he really understood what we want from our photography (reportage, as few line-ups as possible!!).

We're not paying a single penny for our photographer - my brother's girlfriend is coming over from LA to do ours as a wedding present, she's very good and does mostly reportage which is what we both wanted.... so that's a nice present!!!

Thanks for that girls!!

We got quoted €1000 by photographer my mam knows and that's just for plain photo album (not leather or anything) and 24 photos, dont know if this is good or not, but h2b is refusing to pay that much for photos!!

One of his friends does photography a bit on the side for work every now and then so we might see if he'll do it for us, only thing is that he's goin to be one of the groomsmen so we'll have to see.

We are using Barry Regan, Icon Photography - 2,500 for 120 photos. A bit more than we thought but Barry has photogrpahed quite a few of our friends weddings - one where we were part of the bridal party - and were so impressed with him during the day and with the finished product that we just had to book him.

We're paying €750 and for that we get all of our negatives and every picture he takes on the day.

It took a lot of shopping around until we found someone who would do that and for a reasonable price. We weren't prepared to pay much more than what we're paying.

I'm paying 1700 but I think I'm getting a good deal - he's coming to the house beforehand, then the church, pre dinner photos and then he's coming back to the reception, which was really what swung it for me. I'm getting... oh crikey I can't remember his name but it's thepicturehouse.com anyway... He does a more informal style too which is really what I was after.
