Tomas Coppinger photography

Hi,

Did anyone use these for their wedding? Tomas and his partner provide photography as well as videography at a very good price. Im just wondering if anyone used these? What did ye think? :o)ll

I went to see him and was going to get him but when I asked for a sample dvd etc he kept avoiding me and I never got one. I since heard that his wife and child do the dvd so that is why he is so reasonable - you're not getting a professional dvd. His photography is nice though but he was not for me.

I went to see Tomas Coppinger photography as well, but like friendship I got wary when he couldn't provide me with a sample DVD. One of my friends from work wanted to book him and had her deposit ready to send to him. She wan't too bothered when he couldn't provide her with a sample DVD, and didn't think much about it. She has now got worried once I told her about this post; and has held back on the deposit.
I have booked Louis Carr Photography and my friend from work is probably going to book him too. He does both photography and video. No problems in getting a sample DVD from him. He sent me out a sample dvd and I have to say it is professional. Lots of nice finishing touches to it. You would know by watching the dvd that it was shot by a professional and not an amateur. His photography is brillaint too. He was able to do me a great deal on both the photography and video. Maybe you should give him a shout.

we had coppinger and curran for our wedding, hadnt very much time doing research for wedding so choose them as friends had them. had quiet same experience, he wouldnt give us a sample dvd. One thing i would never ever recommend them!!! >:o(

ur told its not about money but YES IT IS!!!
You hire someone to do your wedding pictures and dvd right SO THEREFORE ALL PICTURES ARE LEGALLY THE BRIDE AND GROOMS!!!!! but he wont give them to you, because its his work!!!! IS THAT NOT WHAT WE PAID FOR?????? >:o(

and your also told someone else will make money from the printing , "quote" its not about money!!!!!

Thankfully i had been warned by lots of people that u ll be told, "u the most fabulous bride" best wedding ever,"best pictures ever" etc etc etc, so didnt buy it when we went to select pictures!!!!

pictures were lovely and dvd came out well but for the a ridiculous price of nearly €3000, >:o(

an album with approx 60 pictures and dvd with one or two parts put in twice!!!! have spoken to few people and they had same experience.

Absolutely sick of rip off for weddings!!

Dunno if this is the same guy or not but my friend got married last year and used a guy called Tom Coppinger for her video. His prices were very good and I have seen the dvd and it was grand. She said he was very good to deal with and had no problems at all. Could be a different guy though as he is living in Roscommon somewhere??? Was thinking of booking him myself but now dunno what to do - Does anyone know if this is the same guy??

There are actually two Tom Coppinger videographers, one in Roscommon and one in Galway. I've met both!

I used Tomas Coppinger for my wedding photographs but did not have a DVD. His price may seem good at first sight but we ended up paying additional for our CD so just clarify wha the price includes. He is a good photograher and our album came out very good. His personality can be domineering I found ie I wanted to take photos at a location near my hometown and he kept trying not to do this but I insisted and I won! The week of the wedding he was very slow to get back to me when confirming and in fact I did not get to speak to him until the morning of the wedding. This was annonying to say the least and if you are anyway nervous or anxious he would not be the photographer for you. PM me if you want any additional information. Good luck :o)ll
