Any Mill Park Brides??

Hello everyone - i am just starting my wedding planning and we have been to see the Mill Park - we both like the hotel. I would like to know if they are good to deal with, and if they would negiogate at all with prices. Our wedding is March 2012 so i think since it a 'quiet' time of year might give us some scope to negiogate prices but i didnt get a feel from them if they would. Any advice :)

Any joy with the Mill Park? Any bargaining with them?
We looked at that hotel a few weeks ago and we were very interested after having a look around.
My H2B works in Sales and managed to negiotiate with them to get 10% off!!!
We have provisionally booked a date for 2012.
My question is though, who is the wedding co-ordinator there at the minute?
We have rang them a few times and manage to get talking to someone different every time! There does not appear to be a wedding co-ordinator there at present or maybe the wedding co-ordinator was on holidays?
Does anyone know the name of the wedding co-ordinator there at the moment?
I would prefer to ask for someone when I call rather than talking to many different people when I call! O:|

hi,

The wedding coordinator is called Mary but she is off at the moment sick, i asked that question too at a wedding fair but i think she is due back soon as we have a meeting with her. I think you can speak with Naomi or Tony himself at the moment though.

Do you mind me asking what month are you getting married in 2012 and which of the packages did you go for? thats good that you have someone who will barter, I am useless at that sort of thing and so is hubby to be but we were thinking of going for the rose package. The mill park looks lovely, so homely and everyone i have heard of at a wedding in it so far seem to have had a good day. i know my parents were at one in it and thats what made me interested initially.

Just wanted to let you know that the Mill park is brill for weddings. I was at 2 weddings there and both were brilliant. They were cousins on h2b side so it says it all really, was 2 sisters that got married there out of the one family about 9 months to a year apart and both had it in the Mill Park. And whats brilliant is it is a bit out of towna nd no-one wanders during the breaks!

Thanks so much for your replies!
We are planning on getting married on last weekend of June or first week in July not definate yet!
Awe delighted to hear the good reports about the hotel.
None of my familly have ever been to a wedding there but I heard great reports from friends of friends!
Also delighted to hear that Mary is still around as I have heard great reports about her also!!!
Do you mind me asking when you are planning to meet with Mary?
I was planning to arrange to meet with someone up there some day soon but would rather hold out if Mary is due back soon!!!
