God...havent been online in AGES! So many new B2Bs! Welcome new wollies xxx

Well, I also went looking at dresses recently. Found one that I loved but it was completely opposite to what I thought I wanted. Going to look in another shop on the 28th April so we'll see then.

One another note, I am slightly delighted with myself.... I am now 9lbs lighter than when I tried on the first dress. Started slimming world 3 weeks ago and have lost 9lb!!!! - Am hoping that I hit the stone before we go to the next dress shop. Would definitely recommend slimming world to anyone!!!!!

Has anyone seen the deal on todaysdeals.ie. Its all bridal flowers for a discounted price of €150. Our Church provides the flowers for the Church and our venue is providing tables for the reception so suits me....Can ye have a look at it and see what ye reckon???? www.todaysdeals.ie/Deal.aspx?dlid=321

That looks like a good deal swweetcheeks! I'd go for it myself but my wedding party is too big :( I've got 5 BMs and 3 GM, but no flowergirls or pageboys.

We've been on a booking spree the past few weeks. So far, as well as the venue, we've booked:

- Church
- Photographer
- Videographer
- Band/DJ
- Church music
- Jazz pre-drinks reception music

and we've sent save the dates to our overseas guests.

next step is wedding dress shopping this weekend! :o)ll

Slimming world is brilliant cant recommend it enuff, ive started back to it there this week so being good at min!!!! fingers crossed!!!

WOWSER the list is really getting long now :eek

I haven't been on in quite a while but........ I bought my dress :o)ll

I had no intention of getting it so early but when we were looking for BM dresses, I just HAD to try this one on! I totally fell in love with it so bought it there and then! It feels crazy and although we have a tonne of things booked already, it suddenly feels real now!!! I just keep thinking about how pretty it is and smiling to myself like an eejit haha

Ssweetcheeks fair play on the weight loss. I need a kick in the wobbly ass to move myself into action before I go dress shopping.

We are asking our godchildren (OH niece and nephew) to be our Flowergirl and Pageboy tomorrow. Can't wait to see how excited they are going to be. We had made the decision that we were going to ask them then last night OH said are we really sure we want to ask them! :duh:

I think he is just annoyed with himself because he felt he might have rushed in and asked his friend to be BM too quickly didn't really think about it.
We also have to ask his brother to be GM tomorrow, he might be a little put out that he isn't being asked to be BM as OH was his BM, but as I said OH rushed his BM decision.

We are also still undecided about asking our friends who are getting married this summer to be GM and BM.
Decisions decisions! :duh:

Yup! All done! He came out to the house and stayed for an hour chatting about options for the day and timings and stuff. Was really good! He's local to where hotel is so even had some hairdresser suggestions! And found a band we like thanks to someone on a different thread on here! Got a quote, great price, sound really good on their website and going to see them next week.

Next stop, DIET!!

Ladies, paid my deposit on bridesmaid dresses today, which is the last big thing on my list. Only have to buy flower girl dresses, book pre-marriage course and pay for everything else./....

The major things are in place now any way thank god!!!!!

I dont think im brave enough to go looking at dresses yet :-8

Doing weightwatchers at the minute and wanna lose a bit more weight before i even try anything on....just feel like id look rotten in every dress at the minute.

Nothing really else done since i was on last - just church, venue, photographer, band, church music and cars sorted. Busy few months ahead in work so wont really be able to do much more til August...then im booking the honeymoon :o)ll

cant wait for that!!!!

How much are you all planning on losing before your wedding? I'd be happy with 15lbs and maybe an extra few will drop off in the week or two running up to the day! Is this realistic? God, feel like a stepford wife!!!lol

Am hoping to lose about another stone I'd say. Would love to be a comfortable size 14 for our wedding!

I tried slimming world before and hated it, but this time I am focussed and when you see the weight coming off its great! I'm doing a good bit of exercise as well so thats helping too!!

I'm planning to lose 3-4 stone by next June! Sounds like a lot but I tend to diet really well when I'm motivated

I deliberately ordered my dress 2 sizes too small with a lace-up back so it's more adjustable. It's hanging up now and I can't stop looking at it, I absolutely :lvs
