Bellagy Photographer -still no sign of photos after 18months

Hi everyone,
My cousin has been married 18months and still hasn't recieved their album from the photographer. He's tried to contact him on several occasions but to no avail. They bumped into him a couple of months back when they were out for a meal and he was in the same venue taking photographs for a Christening! My aunt went over and questioned him cause he has been paid and everything - he didn't offer any explanation and they now can't get in touch with him.

Has anyone else had this experience? I feel so sorry for them, they have no album. He initially sent them a few some pics on a CD promising he would send the rest, but the ones he sent are terrible! He's from Bellaghy, but I don't want to mention his name as I am not sure if that's allowed on here???

So I guess I am asking if anyone else has hired a photopgrapher from Bellaghy who has 'ran off' with their money? >:o(

I had a similar experience but with a different photographer who was from Derry.We didn't receive our album for 2 years-lots of chasing via telephone, text and e-mail.I started e-mailing formal letters with and copied in a solicitor friend, and advised I was going to the papers(since this was around the time of the Edel Payne publicity the papers were very keen for more details) and told the photographer that I was going to take him to the small claims court. Funnily we had our album within 3 weeks after doing this.I really share your frustration and wish you the best of luck in getting your album.
