Elody Bridal - Newry are great. Never got my dress from there but she has beautiful dresses and Ciara is a lovely girl to deal with.

Also Something Different in Lurgan is where i got my bridesmaid dresses and she has a fantastic range of dresses including for brides.

Hello - I got my dress in Fashion Shack and Bridal Loft - its a bit of a mad place, but Bernie is very good and she has some really lovely dresses - just be prepared for small and cluttered place - but worth it! My dress is due in in few weeks and I can't wait!!! :hyper:

Also Hidden Secret in Gilford is lovely - I wanted to get my dress there, they are so nice & prices are very reasonable..... but they didn't stock the one I wanted.....

New place in Armagh - Creative Ideas - just opened during summer..... lovely too....

You'll be spoilt for choice!!! Good luck!!!

You def have to go to Joshua Thomas in Lurgan! Jo-Anne is soooo lovely & easy to deal with. Creative Ideas in Armagh & Elody in Banbridge are lovely too

Also nearly forgot about the Bidal Court in Tandragee, seen a couple of nice dresses there too!

Also in Banbridge is Hat Heaven & Darling Dress - TBH i found her dresses more expensive than other shops BUT the headpeices are GORGEOUS!

if you try to look for a modest wedding dress in a bridal gown rental shop, you can have the opportunity to realize even more savings. Bridal shops aren't dumb. They know that brides are willing to spend money on their wedding more so than just about any other event. Also they realize that when it comes to their dream wedding gown, most brides won't say no if the price is close.

i went all over looking for my dress from london, limerick, dublin but ended p gettin git in Armagh. Paradise Collections in Loughall, just outside Armagh is the biggest, best stocked bridal shop i've seen. amazing stock- over 700 dresses! The lady that owns it was lovely i was there nearly 2 hours and here was no sign of her rushing us out the door- well worth a look!

I emailed and phoned these guys and never got a response.........

I live in Newry. I tried the following places:

Fashion Shack and Bridal Loft - she kept telling me that the dress would look better once it was in my size but she had sold off all her larger sizes so not too useful. Nice dresses though.

My Day Bridal - Lots of dresses but really into the whole Disney Dress thing which I didn't like. I also felt that they would have sold you "a dress" rather than one that really suited me.

Perfect Day - Lurgan. Fab place and really nice with some great dresses.

Chantilly Lace - I nearly bought my dress here. It was in a short list of two. Very reasonable and very nice.

Hidden Secrets - this was recommended by a follow wollie and I am so glad I went. They are great, the place is gorgeous and the dresses are lovely and not mad expensive. This is where I got mine.

Bear in mind that I am a size 18 though so I only went to those that actually stocked dresses in my size.

Don't find shops in newry that great! Pretty disappointing to be honest!
