Which shops??
Hey girls - just wondering what bridal shops you'd recommend. Don't have a particular dress or designer in mind as yet. Had seen one dress I really like but starting to go off it a bit so I'm going to hit the dress hunt hard in the next few weeks. I'm in Mid-Ulster but am willing to travel for the right one -aren't we all! These are the ones I have on my "to do" list so far;
Beautiful Day, Greysteel Logan's, Cloughmills Pronuptia, Belfast Marie Me Bridal, Randalstown Tomorrow's, Derry Any feedback on those I've listed and/or any other suggestions would be great. Also need bridesmaid dresses so i'd love to hear of any shops with a good selection as my three BM's all have very different tastes. Thanks a million everyone! Re: Which shops??

I am in the same boat, live in mid ulster too.
So far I have been to Castle Couture- Ballymena, lovely shop but dresses were very expensive Bramble brides- Cookstown- nice lady working there but nothing i liked Haven-Moira, gorgeous shop and gorgeous dresses but all too big and heavy for wedding in Italy Forever Bridal -Belfast, Lovely girls working there and some fabulous dresses. really recommend it. Blush Bridal- Belfast- Shop was run down and sample dresses were in a state couldnt even try one on as the zip was busted and it wouldnt open! dont recommend it at all. When I did eventually see a dress I like it was over £2k Still on the look out but at this point I feel like giving up, dont know where to try next. [url=http://www.TickerFactory.com/]

I've just been to Isobel Love in Lisburn. I'm getting married abroad so thought it would be hard to get a light dress. I actually walked out of the shop with my dress in my hand!! First shop I visited! Although I had helped my sister dress shop only a couple of months ago, so maybe that helped. They're having a samples sale at the moment my dress only cost £700 bargain!!
Re: Which shops??
I'm getting my dress from Protocol in Belfast who have been grand to deal with so far, even when I caused a big mix up they were very nice about it. Haven't gotten as far as alterations etc yet so can't comment on that side of things.
Got my bm dresses in Dublin, but got the groomswoman's dress in Belfast, in The Bridal Lounge. It's a very small shop (really, you feel like you're just upstairs in someone's house), but it has Dessy dresses which are lovely (and a great range if you go down the different dresses in the same colour route). The girl was lovely, but you'd probably find a bigger selection elsewhere.
Re: Which shops??
Hi!
I too am in the north west tho I live in Dublin during the week & am on the search for a dress. Been to Forever Bridal in uppr Lisburn rd in Belfast - lovely staff & nice dresses - seen a possible one but me being me has to go to lots before deciding!! Protocol bridal (was Pronuptia) were very busy and staff not as attentive but big selection. Also thinking of Austins in Derry - any one been here? Tomorrows & Bridal Elegance & Beautiful day in Greysteel are also contenders. There are also a few good ones in Cookstown - any particular suggestions? Cheers girls!!
Re: Which shops??
I've seen this place online http://www.petticoatlanebridal.com/, don't think I'm gonna get a chance to travel that far (living in Galway!!) but it looks nice...some different designers. I love Madeline Isaac James and as far as I know they're the only place in Ireland that stock her.

I went to Perfect Day in Lurgan and i wasnt allowed to look at or pick any dresses. They asked what i had in mind and brought the dresses out to me. Found this unhelpful as i didnt like any of the dresses they brought out. The staff were lovely but just thought they could be doing themselves out of a sale cos i could have seen the perfect dress if i had been able to look myself.
