MAY 2012

Re: MAY 2012

Hey ladies, another one for 19th May 2012! :wv

I've got a lot done over the last couple of months, booked the venue, church and band. I know which photographer, wedding cars and cake we're getting. I also just bought the bridesmaid dresses last Saturday :eek I thought it was a bit early but when they tried them on I loved them and they were really happy with them which was one of the main things as they're hard to please!! It'll take 4 months for them to come into the shop and then any alterations etc can be made nearer the time.

The only thing I haven't done yet is looked for my wedding dress! :ooh I have a fair idea what I want though so I'll give it a couple of more months to lose a bit of weight and tone up before I check them out! :o)ll

Wedding is 5th May, have church, priest, venue, videographer, photographer, band & DJ booked. Have my first appointment for dress shopping this Saturday and am very nervous about it.

Also looking at honeymoons at the moment. Next on the list is wedding and BM dresses & cake.

o god i am getting panicked now! got church, priest, hotel, band and photographer sorted. not having a videographer.

have figured the style of dress that suits me but havne't got any particular dress that i :lvs yet. think i know my bm dresses i want but the girls haven't tried them yet. so much still to do.

am so annoyed. met a florist at a wedding fair and he gave me a broad quote saying he would email me with a more specific one and would do a better deal. the email i got was a rubbish deal - the prices were more expensive than his original quote at the fair and i emailed back and said so. haven't heard from them since - do people not need business???

I know sick of suppliers not getting back to you, I'm overseas so I rely on email alot and so many of them have yet to respond, they have lost out on my business now coz I cant be bothered hanging around for them.

Feeling stressed myself have still so much to do, feel like I wasted all last year ( most of been in my little engaged bubble :xox ) now I'm stressed trying to get quotes before the supplier is booked up. Anyhow hopefully it'll all fall into place.

Another Clonabreany bride here.... we were due to get married on the 29th of April this year but due to a surprise pregnancy have pushed it out to next May now. Won't be doing too much organising until the after the baby arrives in June/July.

Already have my dress (which wouldn't fit me right now!!) and photographer. Its going to be a civil ceremony so just need to book the registrar. Have lots of other bits and pieces semi organised but on hold now. Looking forward to getting to know you all and your wedding plans over the next year!

was up in Dublin today and went looking at wedding rings and think we are sorted. got quotes that we are really happy with but we wanted to have a chat about it first so didn't actually order them so gonna ring and order soon. reckon it will be a handy way of paying them off out of "ordinary money" as opposed to taking them outta the "wedding fund". mine is only about €200 for a plain gold band but am delighted with it. my ring is a solatire and and i reckon my eternity ring can be a bit blingly so going for the traditional band.

Oops I'm worried now. I don't even have hotel booked yet as can't decide between 2. Have done nothing else!!! Going on hols at the end of May so will be happy enough if the church and hotel are booked before that.

Will worry about everything else after my hols.
Think I'll my May 19th too BTW!
