Day After?

What is everyone doing? We have booked a room in a local hotel with some music and a buffet from about 5 til 11? Alot of people will have travelled a fair bit so thought it would be good to carry on the celebrating. O-O

Have had a look at dresses and bought this last night but now not so sure about it.

Is everyone doing something and then would I need to also have something ready to wear in the morning to be thanking people who have stayed over in the hotel? Seriously how many outfits does it take to have a wedding??

Day after I have booked a private room in a restaurant for dinner. We can have it all evening and they are flexible enough with numbers, you know the way you wouldn't be sure who would turn up on the day after or not.

That maxi dress is beautiful, it is quite dressy though but if you're having a buffet and dancing then it requires something dressy right?

I ordered this from Coast:
It might be a bit too dressy too for just dinner (kind of bought it for a wedding in June really) so might wear something else.

mustgang sally your dress is fab, how much for it? for day after we are going to a pub, and they are doing nibbles etc, not going to bother with a singer :-8

wow loads to catch up on here over the weekend.

a4d2012 did you get your mass booklets done?? did the priest get back to you? if you need a template urgently let me know and i will send you mine. our priest was really pleased with it and we didn't have to make any changes at all.

MrsL for the day after we are having a small get together of closest family and friends in the local pub. it will be family and then the crew from hen and stag more than likely, haven't invited all cousins/neighbours etc cos just wanna let the hair down with our closest mates and not have to worry about talking to people!! even though we are only going to the local pub which is fairly casual I have decided to dress up - got this dress in Coast, shure you only get married one! I will wear it for a friend's summer wedding next year aswell

its nicer in real life than it looks on the model. bought it in the Uk so got it a bit cheaper than that.

Your dresses are gorgeous, I've got a wedding in America 3 weeks after mine so will wear the Sunday dress for the cocktail party as well I think.

Just sent off my mass booklets to get printed off, woop woop!

PS Can't believe it's the 29th April, almost OUR month, can't believe it's almost here finally.

Heading off to the menu tasting tomorrow, can't wait! The RSVP's are trickling in, although I can't complain having sent them out so late. Didn't go for RSVP cards in the end. Instead, we set up a password protected website with an RSVP form so all the info gathers in the background. Im hoping for a heap of replies tomorrow, the waiting is killing me!

Nope, for some reason the priests email account wont send to mine or oh's email accounts but he left me a voicemail last nite and said he would email me again 2mrw... i wouldnt mind but the mass booklet i had done up were from another bride whose wedding i was at and they were fine if u ask me! Thanks so much for ur kind offer tho!!!

The dress you have for the day after is fab btw, i havent even got round to organising day after let alone what to wear to it!

Wow atina 4 days – I thought I was bad!! I was awake until all hours last night with things going around my head and To Do lists etc, I think I need to make a list to keep track of my lists to be honest. Can’t imagine how you are feeling!! Stressed panicked super excited??? All of the above!!
Any tips on what we should be doing for the couple of weeks before the wedding to make things as easy for ourselves as possible??

Half day tomorrow, then im on my way.
So nervous now, feel like the excitment is drained out of me for some reason today.
I think once i finish the long list of jobs in work, i'll be grand.
Taking the whole month of May off, had only 6 days holidays last year, so im living for the time off....
Kinda like a yo yo with my dress, since i collected it, i have tried it on twice.
The first time i loved it, but the second time, i just didnt feel wow..
Long white dress is so out of my comfort zone. I hope when the hair and make up is in place, i will feel beautiful, as its no time to have dress regret.
