Theme for November wedding
Hi Ladies
We are planning our wedding for the 30th of November, do you think we would get away with a christmas theme on this date or do you think its a bit early for a christmas theme? Would love to hear your opinions. Thanks everyone LB X [url=http://www.weddingcountdown.com]

Re: Theme for November wedding
It's never too early for a Christmas theme!! ;)
Seriously though, November 30th is already into Christmas party season so I really think you could get away with it.....start off the season before everyone is jaded with it! Could work even better then mid December when people are sick of the tinsel already - I never get sick of it though!
Re: Theme for November wedding
I am the same, I love love love Christmas. Might try get a date a week later so at least we are in December IUKWIM.

Re: Theme for November wedding
I think it's too early for a Christmas theme. But you could still do a lot of the winter wonderland style i'd just stay away from the Christmas decorations
Re: Theme for November wedding
A lot of hotels will have their Christmas decorations up at that stage anyway, and they may have decorations in their function room also. This obviously works in your favour if this is the theme you are going with anyway, but if you don't want it it might worth checking that they can take them down for you etc.
On one of our visits to the hotel where we are having our reception in we saw the room done up for a wedding at the end of November and they had the hotel's own Christmas decorations up at that stage. It looked lovely. I think November 30th is a very Christmassy time of year anyway so it would be a lovely theme to go with. Insert meaningless drivel/annoying ticker here.
Re: Theme for November wedding
You could do with a subtle christmas/winter theme? Blues and silvers-winter wonderland?
Or Holly and Ivy? More traditional red and green shades?

our wedding is the 25th and there will be a christmas tree in the lobby and one in the room where we have our reception i think its something nice to have in the room but im not having christmassy theme! But go for what ever you like, its snowed in november last year so that'll make it feely extra christmassy too if its the same this year!

Re: Theme for November wedding
Nov. 30th is def in christmas territory, christmas parties will already be on at that stage. if you wanted a twist on the christmas theme & had any personal connectiion with the USA, maybe you could go with a thanksgiving theme? not too different from a traditional christmas theme but maybe a bit more rustic, with pumpkins, fruit, ears of corn, barley etc You could incorporate these into the flower arrangements also & it might work out a bit cheaper than flowers. maybe incorporate red or blue into the colour scheme also...? but if that was a bit random then of course the winter wonderland theme would also work perfectly well.

Our wedding is booked for 24th November this year, the same day the venue's Christmas decorations go up. Check with your venue as this could be the case-I'm totally going for a magical/candle/winter style.Embrace it I say. Don't ever be disappointed in things you didn't do.
Best of luck!
Re: Theme for November wedding
Our wedding is the nxt day, 1st December. The hotel have said that the Christmas tree & decorations will be up a few weeks by that time.
We arent having a Christmas theme as such, red isn't a favourite colour of mine, but will incorporate snowflake decorations into my bouquet, cake, invitations. [url=http://www.TickerFactory.com/]
