Jenny Packham Aspen - Thoughts?

Hi All,

Were getting married in December of this year and i think ive fallen in love with the Jenny Packham Aspen dress - what do you guys think?

Its quite expensive, so i was wondering if any of you had bought a copy of a dress online and how successful / unsuccessful it was??

Beautiful dress! Absolutely gorgeous. Wish I had the figure to pull something like that off myself!

No idea about buying a copy but there are lots of jenny packham dresses for sale second hand. They have a very high resale value so maybe you might find one.. Or else buy new and sell your one after to get some of your money back! I would also try some of her other dresses as well that are for sale second hand. Some of them are very similar. But, speaking from experience once you have your heart set on a dress if your budget can stretch to it at all then I would go for it. I thought that I would spend about €800 and ended up paying over €2,000 for my dream dress. I made cut backs in other areas for the "one"!!!

It's such a beautiful dress!!

What did you decide on?

I hope that you ordered it if you wanted it, as now that Kate Middleton's been spotted in it, it will be harder to get a hold of.

Did you see the pictures of Kate in it?
I've started a blog where I post pictures of real brides in wedding dresses. The real brides are a few and far between in Aspen, but i've put together all of the various models in it and of course Kate in the blue version too.

Hey guys,

No didnt go for it in the end, and now that Kate Middleton has been spotted in it, im kinda glad - its going to be called the Kate dress now!!!!


Im quite short and busty so it didnt do much for me im afraid, it is a fab dress, but only if i was a few inches taller >:o)

Saying that, Kate Middleton culd wear a sack and still look amazing!!!!
