bohemian strings

has anyone actually used these? really want them for the wedding, but they only have a few songs uploaded on their site, and i havent time to make it to see them live.

Hey Seedee, We have booked them for our wedding. We went to see them play at another person's wedding and thought they were great. Although though some bossy old lady (maybe mother of the bride/groom) came up to me and asked me if I was at the wrong wedding prehaps :-8

They have been great at answering emails, giving ideas for music ect.... I am really looking forward to them.

ms fahrenheit, thanks for that!!! great to hear back from someone who's actually seen them!! i had an idea that they must be good when i saw that they played with brian wilson, and they've been great with getting back to me i have to say. you've put my mind at ease! have you picked all your music yet?

sorry, whats your connection to them? or string quartets in general? do you play with them?

Yes, we've picked our music. I'm having a mix of contemporary and classical.

We are walking down the aisle to the theme tune from Love Actually - can't wait for that.

had to google it, but it is beautiful!!! so uplifting. god, will you hold it together? :o0

im going for canon in d for the processional, but the rest are all contemporary. i think.
i really need to stick with my decisions!

Bohemian Strings played at our wedding in March 2012. They were amazing. Everyone raved about them afterwards.
I requested a song that they did not have in the repertoire and it was no problem I get goosebumps just thinking about them playing.
I would definitely recommend them.

I had booked Bohemian Strings for our wedding in September as they played at a friends wedding last year. They were fantastic and we knew we had to have them.

ANyway, we ended up having to change our date and lost them (and a small deposit) because they were already booked for the new date. I was so upset but if I could have them I still would, they were just fantastic. They played all sorts of music at the wedding we attended and like a previous poster had said, they played songs that were not on their list.

Go for it, book them and enjoy them, you won't be disappointed.
