Im looking for some inspiration as im at the stage of looking at invites and nothing is jumping out at me!! it would be nice to see pics of other girls invites and wording for ideas please!

have not done anywork on them yet .. did a right run at everything last month but then the dress hunt was on and that was my priority ... back to my big outstanding list next week lol

Alot bridal shops take up to 5 months to get in bridesmaid dresses so you may have t purchase in a shop rather that bridal shop.
Did you make your appointment to give your intent as there a waiting time with that also!!

I have looked at lots invites but I can't see anything that I like so thought it would be a goid thread to set up to get ideas!

found the company very good to deal with.

though now we have to re-order a new batch of invitations (wedding had to be postponed at last minute due to a family bereavement), we will be going for something much simpler & of course, cheaper (not that the above were all that expensive, but we just don't want spend as much again seeing as they're the second round).

My mum is making them for me, I'm really lazy about it. We already know who is going, the only reason we are sending invites is so people can rsvp officially and give their meal choice (hotel needs to know number prior to the day - much my mothers horror!! :eek

Nostress - I'd prefer the first ones, I'm not a fan of the fussy lace ones.

I'm DIY'ing my invites - so theres no pics of the invites online.
I've got pocketfolds from Cardsandpockets.com - I'm not having the typical cream ones though - I'm matching my BM's... Maroon/Burgandy! I know it mightn't look too wedding'y.... but I love them...

I am matching the inserts and ribbon to match BM because I can't find paper anywhere to match the colour - seriously how many shades of pink are there!!!!

Got those with different wording. The backing paper colour is more golden than in the photo.
They turned out fabulous and the guys in Daintree are brilliant to deal with.
